Questions regarding the FETÖ ringleader... Decisions to be made about Gülen, dead or alive

Developments regarding FETÖ leader Fethullah Gülen are occupying Turkey's agenda.

As these developments unfold, we journalists are carefully evaluating the process and meticulously examining the photos being released.

In journalism and law, I prioritize the concept of 'apparent reality,' which my dear elder, lawyer and author Turan Karakaş, insists upon and frequently emphasizes.

The truth is the truth; reality is visible beyond just being real.

FETÖ, which built a massive espionage and treason network not only in Turkey but across the world by using a mask of religion and spreading it over a very long period, is being reshaped in line with the situation Fethullah Gülen is currently in.

The conflict, power struggle, and battle for authority within the organization have now spilled over onto social media.

As for Gülen, he stares into the distance, looking no different from a mummy.

Even the organization members closest to him now say that Gülen's health is not good at all and that, like every mortal, he will one day lose his life.

Many questions arise in the human mind....

- Is he dead?

- Why is there not a single head-on photo of Gülen in the pictures?

- When were the photos taken?

- What is the meaning of the chocolates served next to his coffee in the photo released to the media, which are known to be uneaten, given that Gülen is known to be diabetic?

- Is Gülen in a condition to hold and drink from a coffee cup, given that there is an empty coffee cup in front of him in the released photo?

- Even though it is mentioned between the lines that he is unable to speak, why can no current and indisputable image be released?

- Why was Pennsylvania vacated?

- Was the FETÖ farm in Pennsylvania, which is claimed to have been moved to a quiet and airy place, not airy and comfortable enough?

- The US was providing his security at his farm in Pennsylvania. The farm is now empty and the official personnel are no longer there... Are these police officers and agents continuing to protect Gülen, who is said to have been taken elsewhere?

- If he is dead, is his body being offered for handover?

- If he is about to die, is it being planned for him to die in Turkey, and is he being offered for handover in a state where he is no different from a vegetable, yet still breathing? If he is handed over in this state, what will be awaiting Turkey?

- Does Turkey want to receive Gülen alive or dead, or is it considering the opposite?

All of these questions are critical and are not questions that can be answered instantly. The decisions to be made regarding Gülen, dead or alive, cannot be made immediately either.

There is no need to prolong the discussion...

The infighting within the organization continues to grow, and the power struggles are intensifying.

The state of the organization's ringleader in the photos claimed to be current is striking. It is observed that he cannot even look at the camera. His gaze is always blank... His pupils are never visible, and he is always looking into the distance.

Those who created him and FETÖ as a whole, those who supported him during his existence, those who planned it, those who determined his strategy, and those who enabled him to reach a point where he could manage billions of dollars will not say, "Oh, Gülen is dead, he is dying, he is sick... Well then, let's shelve the projects."

Very soon, the whole truth will be laid bare, and journalism will win.
