Everyone is aware that all the information of Republic of Turkey citizens is on the internet and is being sold for pennies.
This information covers every piece of private data you can think of, from your mother's maiden name to your date of birth, and from your parents' dates of birth to their parents' names.
In recent days, millions of people received a message on their phones linked to the HGS application they use. Hackers were demanding 25 thousand dollars.
As you know, the HGS application works with the details of the bank card you use for payments. In other words, if you have a debt to HGS and are going to make a payment, you absolutely must enter certain information here.
After the HGS application was hacked, the authorities, who never accept any responsibility for any problems that occur, acted as expected once again.
They claimed that private information could not be accessed. It is impossible to understand how this is possible. While they cannot protect our personal data, they are absolutely certain and sure that private data was not fully accessed. Even the statement made within minutes of the hacking reveals the lack of seriousness.
Why am I writing this?
Yesterday, while scrolling through the agenda on social media, I watched a video by Sevan Nişanyan, who fled abroad due to various crimes, frequently shares videos from abroad expressing hostility toward Turkey, and especially insults Mustafa Kemal Atatürk profusely.
He was excitedly explaining that a new and more detailed, massive personal data set belonging to Republic of Turkey citizens had been put into circulation, and that he and his team had obtained this data after feverish work.
This shame, without a doubt, belongs to those who cannot even hide or secure the identity information of their citizens. This shame is the shame of the incompetence, indifference, and lack of merit of those who claim to be setting the rules in the Middle East and telling heroic stories, but who serve up even the mother's maiden names of millions of their citizens who are struggling to survive against scammers from all over the world. But as a citizen, I know they will not feel ashamed.

What is happening in Turkey resembles a comedy, but a bitter comedy.
There is a piece of news that has been appearing before us frequently in recent days. The relentless struggle waged by Political Islamists to prevent the decorating of pine trees... The hypocrisy of Political Islamists, who generally busy themselves with empty tasks and showmanship, is exposed at every opportunity.
They pretend to be against Israeli oppression in Palestine while ignoring the shiploads of goods—from steel to cables, from clothing to water—being sent to Israel. They perform performative boycotts and pour out cola.
They cover up the truth with extraordinary brazenness, and under all circumstances, they are right and, of course, they are the victims.
They design everything through religion, faith, and certain concepts tied to faith, hiding behind these concepts, but they act with the consciousness of "how can we make a profit." Most of the time, they end up with fortunes worth millions.
They expend energy to prevent the symbolic decorating of pine trees. In fact, there is a plan behind this effort as well. And along with this, a simple question arises: Have you ever seen them protest for the forests that are burned and destroyed, the bays that are plundered, or the unique lands of the country that are handed over to miners?
