The "Process Alliance" panic

Don't leave your news choices to an algorithm - decide for yourself what you read. Add 12punto to your preferred sources!

The AKP government, which has ruled Turkey for a quarter of a century and is naturally responsible for everything that has happened to the country during this time, is now looking for an opportunity to amend the Constitution.

Moving steadily and decisively toward this goal, the government began to adopt a more comfortable stance after securing the support of the US.

In a period where astonishment has become normalized, the AKP has managed to surprise us once again. Its Chairman, Erdoğan, announced an alliance with the DEM Party, accompanied by smiles and grins, with the promise of a "Turkey without terrorism." However, it must be noted: What was surprising was not the alliance formed with the DEM Party.

Because the AKP and the DEM Party are two structures that have been acting together for a long time, meeting and reaching agreements at every opportunity. We know that "thick as thieves" meetings have taken place behind closed doors in every period.

AN INSINCERE THEATER STAGED TOGETHER

What is surprising is not that AKP members associate their rivals with the DEM Party and terrorism in front of cameras, saying whatever comes to their minds. Because this, too, is part of the game. Just like continuing trade while appearing hostile toward Israel. Just like acting together in the Greater Middle East Project (BOP) while pretending to oppose Israel. They act with the understanding that "all roads leading to the goal are legitimate."

What is truly surprising is that the AKP has reached a point where it even mocks its own voters, and that it has become this reckless. And even more surprising is the voter base that, for a quarter of a century, has called white "black" because their party said "This is black," and then said "Yes, this is black" when they were told so.

There is still a segment that believes and wants to believe that certain political figures are solving grand global games with their 'deep!' knowledge.

Yes, games are being set up. But it is imperialism that sets up these games. And they are marching toward their goals with determination. They are advancing with capital, technology, and influence. Not with video edits curated on TikTok accompanied by "Valley of the Wolves" music... Imperialism advances toward its goals by determining the leaders of countries.

Anyway... These are topics for another discussion.

The AKP faced intense backlash after announcing its partnership and companionship with the DEM Party.

There was a great sense of disappointment.

Realizing that the reaction would grow, they made a quick U-turn and clung to the rhetoric that "there is definitely no partnership, no alliance." The reason for their togetherness was supposedly to end terrorism. This was a "process alliance."

No... The truth is the exact opposite. This is a straightforward companionship. It is a partnership, acting together, and a union of forces. This is an alliance. It is a partnership of interests. One should definitely not be fooled by their claims of "we are not an alliance" when they see the reactions. Their concern is to change the Constitution, and they need to act together for this.

I repeat what I said in my previous article:

To protect the existence of the Republic of Turkey, opposition parties must set aside empty, pathetic debates and leave personal agendas behind. There is a need for a genuine patriotic mind and morality. This is essential to defend the integrity and founding values of the Republic of Turkey.
