Time to fight to return to Republican settings

Those who have tried to place dynamite at the foundations of the Republic have, at the point we have reached today, unintentionally proven one truth: the virtue of the Republic and the unshakable righteousness of Atatürk.

It is highly ironic that many of those who spew anger and hatred at the struggle for a bright Turkey owe perhaps everything they possess today to the secular and democratic regime. It is now an undeniable fact that the project of "pious and vengeful generations" has driven these lands into a dead end. No matter what they do, the love for Atatürk does not end. On the contrary, many people are rediscovering Mustafa Kemal. Because he continues to take his place right at the center of our lives as a survival code for a people.

The bill for the "pious and vengeful generations" plan—devised by those who meticulously, gradually, knowingly, and by design destroyed Turkey's settings, and who carried out this process within the framework of the orders of their imperialist masters—has been heavy; at least two generations have been lost under this cultural and systematic attack.

Looking back with the experience and testimony that 48 years of life provide, I can clearly see how our education system was consciously decayed. We have evolved from primary school students in our time who could write with pearl-like handwriting and receive a complete basic education, to generations who have reached their second year of university today without even acquiring basic literacy skills. Rest assured, this is not an accident; it is a systematic operation...

Our schools once taught not only science and professions; they also prioritized respect, love, and discipline. Were there no problems at all? Of course there were. However, the position of teaching was sacred, and the national education system raised individuals with the principle of "morality first, then knowledge." Today, the violence engulfing the streets, the drugs entering schools, and the economy of bribery and rent-seeking have become the most bitter fruits of this conscious destruction.

The greatest move of this organized evil in history was undoubtedly the closure of the Village Institutes. The blow struck that day paved the way for the incompetence, ignorance, and moral collapse of today. If we are still standing to any degree today, it is thanks to those last true intellectuals and competent generations raised by the Republic.

Everyone must come to their senses now. Returning to the founding values, that is, to the factory settings, is our debt to these lands, our children, and our future. We are not just facing local reactionism, but a corrupt order hidden behind a religious mask that collaborates with imperialist centers.

We must get education back on its feet, but the struggle must not be just in classrooms; it must be in every area of life. To protect our lands, our people, and most importantly the future of our children, today is the time to wage a total "war of independence," just as it was a century ago. The ranks of the struggle must stand shoulder to shoulder. Socialists, republicans, enlightenment advocates, nationalists, laborers, and all layers of the people must stand shoulder to shoulder for the sake of the future.

Now is the time to remember who the true owner of the Republic is.
