We will raise good people... Good people who defend the truth

From time to time, various questions occupy my mind...

As I try to follow and evaluate intellectual approaches and scientific developments regarding humanity, we naturally question life itself.

Sometimes we weigh in our minds the process that leads a murderer to become a murderer, or how responsible a thief is while committing theft.

The influence of many factors, from their genetic makeup to their family, from the city they were born in to the environment they grew up in...

Who is responsible for the flow of their life, and who is not?

Or, how binding is the course of events that is beyond our control?

The questions never end...

The other day, I witnessed a conversation between a small child and his mother on the street.

The mother dropped a chocolate wrapper she was holding, looking for a trash can to throw it away.

Her son, estimated to be 5 or 6 years old, who was accompanying her at the time, saw the trash fall to the ground and said to his mother, "We cannot leave trash on the ground, we cannot pollute the environment."

The mother replied to her son, "I dropped it unintentionally, I was going to throw it in the trash."

All of this was a few seconds of my witnessing.

And those few seconds actually told me many things.

The fact that a child of this land is being raised with a concern for the environment not being harmed, right from the core...

He undoubtedly gets this sensitivity from his family. Conscience, compassion, love, and respect... Because they can be planted in people's hearts like a seed...

While our small testimonies that seem simple refresh our hope, they also point out that we must fight with determination.

We will raise good people with determination. People who take good care of people, women, their sisters, animals, and flowers; people who defend rights, labor, and the truth...

We will raise people from a young age who do not steal, who do not use institutions and positions for their own interests, and who do not create great destruction in pursuit of petty gains.

We will reach out to the unfortunate ones who have not received their share of values, even if they are a thousand years old.

We will explain that human values should not be ignored in the pursuit of material wealth and personal interests.

We will teach that setting aside the sense of shame and telling endless lies, or feeding lies with truths, is not moral behavior.

One way or another, we will teach it.

Our path is long, of course....
