Sweeping away the neoliberal policies created by imperialism in 2026

In 2025, humanity experienced the suffering and  reactionary politics created by  imperialism's neoliberal policies.

Let us begin with the Middle East, where this suffering and reactionism were experienced.

WHAT HAPPENED IN THE MIDDLE EAST?

In 2025, the imperialist gang formed by the partnership of the US, Britain,  and the EU, which descended upon the Middle East after Africa, used local collaborators  to remain merely silent while millions of people perished for black gold  remained, and supported their   drowning in a sea of blood.

Imperialists  used the kings, princes, sheikhs, and presidents who collaborated with Israel,   their primary base in the Middle East,  until their expiration dates had passed. Because almost all of them  were   tribal statelets whose borders were drawn by the British and French co-production, the Sykes-Picot ruler.

The Neoliberal Policies Created by Imperialism  One of the Consequences - The Destruction of Syria

In this context, one of the most tragic events took place in Syria.

Imperial states sought to bring it under a higher level of control.

However, internal dynamics also played a leading role among the issues that caused its destruction.

In the country's   nation-building process, a policy based on populism and statism was not pursued.

In Syria  Starting from the year 2000,  in the economy,  a predominantly neoliberal economy began to be implemented. Starting with banking, in every field of the economy,  privatizations and investments were carried out under the guidance of imperial states, for example, Iran and the Saudis, the Netherlands, India, the USA, Canada, and China.  These were implemented  accordingly.

The taxes collected by the state were not reflected back to its people on the basis of egalitarianism in terms of jobs and bread.

As a result, for the masses, with the exception of a small minority,  Impoverishment has become widespread.

These implemented economic policies have brought divisions based on ethnicity and religious sectarianism to the agenda. This has been the foundation of the tragedy that befell Syria.

IS THERE SALVATION WITHOUT OPPOSING IMPERIALISM?

Imperialism, through organizations under its control such as the IMF, the World Bank, and the World Trade Organization,  transfers the goods and services produced by third countries to itself at the lowest possible cost.

The unfortunate part is that the working classes of wealthy countries also receive a share of the resources that their own capitalists extract from oppressed nations. For this reason, they do not take an effective stance against the system.

In third-world countries, collaborative governments and the foreign investors who oversee them, through force and/or acquisitions, are seizing  the lands of farmers.

For example, did forced seizure not occur in Africa?

Let us recall that this seizure was actually initiated through Christianization, which was used as a tool of colonization.

Kenya's Founding President Jomo Kenyatta expressed this as follows: 'When the Europeans arrived, they had the Bible in their hands, and we had our land. They taught us to close our eyes and pray. When we opened our eyes, we saw that the Bible was in our hands, and our land had become the white man's.'

Imperialism, by controlling the agriculture of third-world countries   and ruthlessly exploiting the land,  creates deficiencies in production. It prevents people from accessing food, their most basic need. Billions of people are forced to live on the brink of hunger.

Sweeping Away the Neoliberal  Policies Created by Imperialism   With Atatürkism  Possible

Let us remind ourselves once again that the system that creates suffering and reactionism is capitalism and the colonialism it has spawned, and let us state that a way out is possible through Atatürkism.

Did Atatürk not express this in 1933 as follows?: “Look at the sun rising from the East! Just as I see the day dawning today, I see the awakening of all Eastern nations from afar... Colonialism and imperialism will vanish from the face of the earth, and in their place, a new era of harmony and cooperation will prevail, one that makes no distinction of color, religion, or race among nations.”

Moreover, Atatürk, in the struggle to be waged against  colonialism and imperialism, saw that for oppressed nations, an economic  practice based on statism and populism  was a condition and a necessity, and he implemented it.

In a short period of 15 years, Atatürk  had established numerous works and factories.  Thus, imperial states were prevented from regaining  control over the economy in Turkey, and  the wreckage inherited from the Ottoman Empire was cleared away.

In summary, in 2026,  our primary duty as citizens, at a much higher level, is;

“To embrace the achievements of the republic as a political force and not to fall behind those achievements.”

In parallel with this, against the capitalist capital order, the feudal remnants that still maintain their weight  and the political approaches  that try to implicitly hide the exploitation of religion and labor  it is necessary to socialize the class struggle  and the struggle for secularism on the basis of equality in income distribution, I believe.

In the year 2026,  for our country and our world, I wish for equality in income distribution for all of humanity.
