Pearls of wisdom from an 'Arab friend' who doesn't keep his oath!

Don't leave your news choices to an algorithm - decide for yourself what you read. Add 12punto to your preferred sources!

The gentleman is 58 years old..

He comes from a family of Arab origin.

His birthplace is Siirt

He is a graduate of METU Sociology

He is one of the rare, perhaps even the first, "shariaist" produced by this university, which even has a stadium named "Revolution" and has hosted the resistance and actions of leftist students hundreds of times…

*

He is among the four founders of the Justice and Democracy Foundation, but he is not a "democrat"…

He is merely a "democracy abuser…"

His true goal is to use democracy as a shield to bring about Sharia…

He served as an AKP Deputy Chairman responsible for Foreign Relations and Human Rights, but he never stood by any fundamental human right other than freedom for religious sects and the headscarf.

For example, when journalists, politicians, and leaders of civil society organizations were thrown into Silivri due to the news they reported, articles they wrote, or statements they made, he didn't even make a sound.

*

To rise rapidly in politics, he did not even hesitate to deify Recep Tayyip Erdoğan

At a program for women in his hometown of Siirt, he even combined the "salawat" (blessings) said for the Prophet with Erdoğan's name, saying: "Resok Tayyip Erdoğan salli ala Muhammed, Ak Parti u Ak Parti salli ala Muhammed."

He was among the architects of the AKP's failed Kurdish opening.

He chanted slogans saying "Heval (Comrade) Tayyip Erdoğan."

*

He served as a member of parliament in the 25th and 26th terms in Parliament.

He took this oath twice:

"I swear upon my honor and integrity before the great Turkish nation that I will protect the existence and independence of the state, the indivisible integrity of the homeland and the nation, and the unconditional sovereignty of the nation; that I will remain loyal to the rule of law, the democratic and secular Republic, and the principles and reforms of Atatürk; that I will not deviate from the ideal that everyone should enjoy human rights and fundamental freedoms within the understanding of social peace and prosperity, national solidarity and justice, and loyalty to the Constitution."

Yet, as it turns out; he never remained loyal to the part of the oath stating "I will remain loyal to the secular Republic and the principles and reforms of Atatürk."

He risked making his honor and integrity a subject of debate.

*

He has always been a staunch enemy of Atatürk, or in his own words, of "Kemalism."

He continued on this path again yesterday, and in his column in Yeni Şafak, he expressed that "there must be a reckoning with Kemalism."

Perhaps for the first time in his writing career, he expressed "reproach" toward Recep Tayyip Erdoğan; referring to his meeting with Özgür Özel, he wrote the following:

"Why did the AK Party set out, and where has it arrived? With whom did it set out, and with whom is it continuing? Did the AK Party, which emerged as a popular movement against the tutelage centers governing Turkey, choose to compromise in the final stretch instead of reckoning with those tutelage circles and their ideologies, with Kemalism?"

This man's name is Yasin Aktay…

According to him, the Turkish nation does not exist…

According to him, secularism is a great sin…

According to him, the only path is Islam, and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is a prophet…

According to him, Atatürk's principles and reforms are something that "must be reckoned with."

*

I won't lie; for a while, my heart had also started to darken, but now I am very hopeful, my friends…

I look to the future with more confidence now.

Believe me, the Republic, which these charlatans, these liars, and these oblivious people who do not even keep their oaths could not destroy, is now stronger than before…

Because we now know what they are capable of and how small they can become.

In other words, we are experienced!

Rest assured, if the Republic of Turkey, which is a secular, democratic, social state of law, did not collapse during the 22 dark years it endured, it will never collapse from now on, and Atatürk's principles will continue to shed light on all generations…

As for these Arab-lovers

As always, their hopes will be dashed, and they will be left sitting on their backsides!
