The area just below our southeastern borders is in turmoil once again.
First, following the attempted attack on the Ministry of Interior, the Turkish Armed Forces and MIT went on a hunt for PKK terrorists in Syria.
And look what happened because of that?
The answer came from the US, the patron of the terrorist organization, which immediately shot down one of our armed unmanned aerial vehicles (SİHA).
And they did it with an attack launched from the Incirlik Air Base on our own soil!
In other words, they gave Turkey a warning (!), just as they did years ago when they put sacks over the heads of our soldiers.
Interestingly, our officials ignored it and pretended not to hear about it for hours. Then, they even tried to claim that the SİHA did not belong to us...
After the official statement from the US authorities, they swallowed their words and retracted them!
***
So, when did these events take place?
At a time when the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan administration was finally beginning to soften its stance and take peaceful steps regarding Syria...
The dominant powers in the region sent the message: "Hey Turkey, you cannot abandon the hawkish policy you have implemented until now. Otherwise, we will make the world too small for you."
In short, you must neither make peace with Syria nor stop fighting the PKK...
That is what they want!

We had just focused on these strange developments when we saw that the war between Palestine and Israel had started anew.
The armed wing of the extremist religious group Hamas, the Al-Qassam Brigades, attacked Israel on the morning of October 7. They named the operation the Al-Aqsa Flood!
The Israeli Army's retaliation was not delayed.
More than 600 Israeli citizens were killed in Hamas's attacks, and nearly 250 Palestinians were slaughtered in the counter-attacks launched by Israel.
***
So, when did these events take place?
At a time when Israel's far-right Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was in trouble in domestic politics!
He needed something that would save him and allow him to regain the support of the people living in his country. Otherwise, the modern people of Israel were preparing to remove him from power.
And so, at exactly such a time, Hamas came to Netanyahu's rescue.
He did not miss the opportunity and, citing Article 40 of the Israeli Constitution, officially declared a "state of war" for the first time since 1973.
Thus, the winner of this bloody attack, which will go down in human history, was Netanyahu, who saved his political seat...
The Israeli public forgot the real issues that were hurting them and rallied behind this politician whom they did not like even a little bit!

As I said, the area just below our southeastern borders is in turmoil once again.
And just when we were thinking, "I guess everything is getting better..."
A lasting peace in Israel and Palestine has been left to another spring.
As has the establishment of peace in Syria and the departure of foreign powers from the country and the region...
***
But besides politicians like Netanyahu, who or what benefited from the region becoming chaotic again, and so severely?
Certainly, the foreign powers that have anchored themselves in the region, primarily the imperialist US and Russia!
They have guaranteed their presence in the region, which is the world's oil depot, for at least another ten years.
Then...
The drug barons!
The establishment of peace in the region and the transition to a regime governed by strong, law-based authorities was their nightmare... Preventing smuggling!
This meant a trillion-dollar loss...
What would they do if the region where they run wild and which they use as the world's narcotics base were taken out of their hands?
Then this development benefited the arms dealers...
Every tension meant new orders for weapons and ammunition factories!
It also benefited human traffickers...
It benefited the slaver scoundrels who trade in women, especially Yazidi women.
It benefited black marketeers, loan sharks, religious profiteers, and cult leaders.
***
Ordinary people like us do not love war... For us, war is just death polished with the gilding of "martyrdom"...
Those who love war and feed on it are those who will never die in wars!
They are the snakes, the jackals, the hyenas!
In short, I am afraid, my friends.
Just as it is described in that famous Azerbaijani folk song, "Korkirem..." (I am afraid...)
***
Oh my dear...
I go to the mountains alone, my dear, to the mountains...
I see fire and volcanoes, I see demons, I see souls!
I see ghosts in the grave...
I see a thousand kinds of storms...
I see a wild place full of roses...
I am not afraid! I am not afraid, my dear, I am not afraid...
Oh my dear...
At dawn I fall into the deserts, my dear, into the deserts...
I see a roaring lion, I see a blood-eating hyena.
I see a wavy ocean.
I see souls, I see demons, I see ghosts in the grave.
I see a thousand kinds of storms.
I see a wild place full of roses.
I am not afraid! I am not afraid, my dear, I am not afraid...
Oh my dear...
With this fearlessness of mine...
I swear, my dear, I swear, my dear, I swear, my dear...
Wherever I see a hypocrite...
Wherever I see a bigot...
Wherever I see a fanatic...
Wherever I see a mullah...
I am afraid. I am afraid, my dear, I am afraid...
Of their blood-soaked ideas...
I am afraid of their hypocritical prayers, my dear, I am afraid.
