I will donate my pension to the Treasury... On one condition!

İYİ Party Balıkesir Deputy Turhan Çömez has alleged that a public bank granted a 700 million lira loan to Ayhan Bora Kaplan, who is currently in prison as a suspect and alleged leader of a criminal organization.

And he did so on a live broadcast on Sözcü TV!

If such an allegation were brought to the agenda in any other country with developed law, economy, and democracy, the world would be turned upside down!

The managers of that public bank and the politicians responsible for the bank would immediately make a statement.

If they had nothing to say, they would resign.

In our country, let alone this grave allegation taking the top spot on the agenda, no one even hears it!

And those who do hear it can do nothing about it…

*

It is no small matter; the money in question is exactly 700 million lira!

The institution alleged to have provided this loan is a public bank…

And according to Çömez's claim, they gave the money without asking for any collateral!

Moreover, it is not even clear how much interest would be charged on this money!

The person who received the money is said to be a mafia leader.

And who is saying this?

A member of parliament…

And an influential, significant member of parliament at that!

Yet, there is no one opening their mouth to say a word, write, or draw anything!

*

If you were to go to any bank today to get a 100 thousand lira loan, they would question you down to your mother's maiden name, demand a guarantor, and place a mortgage on your property!

Just think, these conditions do not apply to this highly respectable mafia boss.

He took the money and left!

And what happened next?

Of course, he did not pay it back on time…

The money has already entered the list of "uncollectible receivables"!

In other words, your money and my money have evaporated into thin air!

*

The interesting thing is that after Turhan Çömez brought this allegation to the agenda, no one is talking, but there is a "sanction"!

So, what is this sanction?

The Ankara Regional Coordinator of the public bank said to have provided the loan has been abruptly dismissed…

That is all!

Moreover, the one requesting his dismissal was not the general directorate of his own institution or the minister responsible for that bank!

The request came from the Ministry of Interior!

We are used to these rip-offs…

We have seen so many examples of it before; it has become ordinary now!

Did a bank like Ziraat Bank, which was established to support farmers, not give truckloads of money to a gas station owner to buy Hürriyet, Kanal-D, Star, and CNN Türk?

Who said anything?

We just wrote and drew about it…

And those remained as a discordant cry in the sky!

Moreover, the gas station owner turned newspaper boss did not pay back a single penny of this money…

He is clever; instead of paying money, he transferred some real estate in Kemerburgaz that was "already in litigation with the state."

He both got rid of the talk and criticism, and he made the state litigate against itself.

A great piece of trickery!

Ayhan Bora Kaplan is a 52-year-old friend from Erzurum…

He has been in and out of prison and has served time for murder!

It is said that he is involved in "powder" (narcotics) business.

According to the allegation by TİP Deputy Ahmet Şık, he is also known for his closeness to former Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu.

About two months ago, he was caught and detained while trying to flee abroad at Esenboğa Airport, and he was arrested.

Now I am addressing Mr. Mehmet Şimşek:

You are searching everywhere abroad for money…

Here is money for you…

And it is cash!

Do not just say "it is only 700 million lira" and move on; take a look at these public banks under your authority, and see what other 700 millions you will find…

Come on, Mr. Minister, we are waiting for your response:

Who requested the managers of that public bank to give this money to this mafia friend?

Give a clear answer to this question; my one month's pension will be a pleasure to donate to our Treasury, which is facing a resource shortage!
