Was everything you mentioned perfectly fine until yesterday, and did the CHP suddenly become this bad overnight?

Aren't you one of the number one people responsible for this deterioration, corruption, cronyism, and favoritism of spouses, friends, and relatives that has been going on for years?

You talk about merit… Let us give an example from you:

I wrote the positions you held in the CHP above.

Tell me; for which of those positions do you possess the required merit?

What is your education, Gürsel?

What is your career?

How many foreign languages do you know?

Can you show me a single CHP member who does not know that you resigned yesterday simply because you were not nominated for the “Esenyurt Mayoralty” that you wanted so much?

Yes; everything you listed above is just an excuse…

You are being ungrateful because you did not get the seat you wanted this time!

Let me write it more clearly:

You owe a lot to the CHP, which took you from being a waiter and made you one of the wealthiest politicians; but the CHP, and especially the CHP voters, do not owe you a single penny…

Stop being an ambitious opportunist, and if you are still truly committed to CHP principles as you claim, try to be “honorable”…

Remember; you sat in the most important seats of this party for nearly twenty years…

I am sure that you have done a thousand times more injustice to others than the injustice you think is being done to you today…

If you insist on an example, I will give you one:

When Emine Ülker Tarhan, Dilek Akagün Yılmaz, and Süheyl Batum were being lynched just for being Atatürkists, what did you do?

You applauded the pinning of badges on those wearing black chadors!

Come to your senses and do not show any more disloyalty, disrespect, infidelity, or even betrayal to the party that made you who you are, carried you from being a tea-house waiter to residences, and placed you among the most powerful politicians in the country!

Maybe you are experiencing this for the first time, but remember, you cannot always get everything you want in politics…

Do not fall into the position of Battal İlgezdi, who became the “owner” of Ataşehir for years thanks to the CHP, but went as far as accusing party administrators of “Alevi hostility” just because he was not nominated!
