The MHP members who brought us to this point… “Back off!”

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and CHP candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu visited the AKP tent in Sancaktepe two days ago and shook hands with the staff one by one.

In fact, the AKP members at the stand teased him, saying, “Mr. Mayor, come on, let us make you a member.”

He replied, “I am glad you want me so much,” and the visit ended with laughter and embraces.

Later, he wanted to pay a courtesy visit to the MHP election tent together with CHP Sancaktepe Mayoral Candidate Alper Yeğin.

MHP District Chair Arzu Karaalioğlu stood in his way and, in a manner unbecoming of a woman's grace and political courtesy, shouted, “Back off, back off.”

Then she said the following:

“Go and ‘brew’ with those you sit at the bargaining table with!”

İmamoğlu was greatly surprised by this disrespect and could only say, “Stay calm.”

Then he left the tent to prevent any incident.

“Back off, back off…”

To whom is this said?

To a horse, to a donkey!

A female politician said these words to the mayor of this country's largest city without any shame or hesitation…

In her mind, she was protesting the alleged secret alliance between İmamoğlu and the CHP with the DEM Party.

Protesting is the most natural right of every citizen, especially a politician.

On one condition…

You must be polite, you must know your place, and you must not insult!

You must not do to others what you would not want done to yourself!

What Ms. Arzu did is to add fuel to the fire, and it is extremely dangerous.

What if everyone starts talking to each other like this now… What if CHP members, wherever they see them, say, “You are now acting as a spare tire for Erdoğan, whom you were throwing ropes at until yesterday. You are the ones who should back off”

What if the streets and squares become scenes of fights and clashes between party members…

What will happen then?

*

Ms. Arzu…

If you have any courage, instead of targeting a party that condemns terrorism and terrorist organizations at every opportunity, target your coalition partner, the AKP, which has spent years negotiating the 'opening' process with all legal and illegal representatives of that terrorist organization…

Target the new partner of your alliance, the representatives of the bloodthirsty Hezbollah…

Target the dishonorable former politicians who attack Atatürk and the Republic while trying to praise the Ottoman Empire…

Target those who, despite all these years, protect and shield the political wing of the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization…

Try saying “Back off” to them!

*

I am writing this clearly.

As of today, the biggest trouble facing this country is, in the words of the people, politicians who are “fickle,” “cannot stand tall,” and “keep changing direction according to the wind.”

In my opinion, the most dangerous political party is not the AKP.

Because these people do not hide their intentions at all.

They say “Caliphate”

They say “Sharia”

They say “Ummah”

And they are walking step by step towards these goals!

If we cannot prevent them from reaching these goals, all of which are contrary to the constitution and the laws, the fault is ours…

And the greatest fault lies with…

Those who do the exact opposite of what they said yesterday…

Those who enter into alliances with everyone who ignores Atatürk's principles and revolutions…

The MHP, which has declared war on the gains of the Republic, starting with the Constitutional Court…

*

Look at Devlet Bahçeli:

There is constant malice in his eyes and an endless hatred on his tongue…

They keep harping on about “Turan, Turan…”

But forget about “Turan,” they are making us lose Turkey; they have no idea!

They are hand in hand, arm in arm, and shoulder to shoulder with every structure that has sworn to destroy the state!

For the sake of three or five bureaucratic or political seats, they have turned their backs on both secularism and populism…

They went even further and carried on their backs a man who said he “trampled all kinds of nationalism, including Turkish nationalism,” and turned the country into a place of fire!

*

I claim:

When historians write about these days in the future…

They will not put the AKP…

They will put the MHP in the first place!

Because if the MHP had not changed and transformed so much over the last ten years and had not betrayed its own values…

Today, neither the AKP nor its secret ambitions would remain!

*

Yes, Ms. Arzu…

Instead of shouting “Back off, back off” like shepherds grazing sheep in the mountains of your village at a “harmless” politician who pays a courtesy visit to your tent…

If you are truly a nationalist, if you are a nationalist, if you are committed to the sacred values of this country, question the state your party has fallen into.

And if you have the heart…

Tell those who brought you and your party to this state to “Back off”!
