The most absurd politician and the naive people who believe in them!

When you read the "most absurd politician" definition in the headline, many names must have crossed your mind, right?

Thankfully, our country has very fertile soil in this regard!

Well, a Mustafa Kemal doesn't emerge every time, of course...

I am not going to list names one by one and bring trouble upon myself. I am sure that if you think for five minutes, you will be able to list at least ten names.

But the politician I have chosen for the headline is truly an absurd character.

Yet, despite this absurdity, they even became Prime Minister of this country...

If this country is still at odds with Syria today... it is his doing! He was supposedly going to enter Damascus, but instead, all of Damascus entered us.

As of today, he is 66 years old...

A professor of political science and international relations...

A former ambassador...

A former member of parliament...

A former foreign minister...

A former AKP Chairman...

A former prime minister...

And for the past five years, the chairman of a small party whose power is believed in only by Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.

He was shown the door while he was Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's right-hand man.

Interestingly, it was our naive former leftists, rather than AKP members, who complimented the new party he founded.

One of them was my dear friend of 40 years.

He resigned from his CHP membership and took on the role of 'advisor' to this friend without receiving a single penny.

He dedicated his days and nights to him.

'Only this man can save Turkey from the AKP; he is the only one who can take votes from the AKP base.' saying, and followed him.

Yet the man couldn't even save himself.

"If you were taking on this task professionally, that would be one thing... But you are spending your pension on this cause. This man is using you. Moreover, you are betraying your youthful ideals." our friendship ended because I said that.

And what an ending it was!

Full of insults and chaos!

This absurd character didn't just deceive my friend.

He imagined such power for himself that even the then-Chairman of the CHP, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, believed it.

He established something called the 'Table of Six' and served Atatürk's CHP on a silver platter to this bigot and other bigots like him.

The losers of the parliamentary and presidential elections were Kemal Bey and the CHP, while these friends sold themselves so well that they entered parliament with a number of seats they could not have even dreamed of.

Are you wondering about my naive friend?

As you might guess, he was left out... He wasn't even treated as a person of consequence.

This absurd man continued his 'art of deception' not only in Turkey but also on the international stage. 

'One of the brains behind Turkey's global reawakening' was presented as such; that is why he was included in Foreign Policy magazine's “Top 100 Global Thinkers” list in 2010.

As for what they called a “global awakening,” it was nothing more than “Neo-Ottomanism” and “Pan-Islamism.”

So, who was the power behind this friend?

Did you say “Recep Tayyip Erdoğan”?

No… The person who introduced him to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who dressed him up and sold him, and who always stood behind him both financially (!) and morally… 

His high school classmate was the religious businessman Murat Ülker.

In my opinion, this man, who deserves to be at the very top of the list of the 10 most absurd people in the political history of the Republic of Turkey, is Future Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu...

His party, in the last local elections it entered alone, received only 34,212 votes across all of Turkey and could only manage to be the 21st party.

And our friend came out and explained that they did not enter the elections in all electoral districts, which is why their vote count remained low...

If you believe that!

As if the result would have been any different if he had run in the election everywhere!

“I would go out into Anatolia and just say ‘Esselamun Aleyküm’ (Peace be upon you), and I would rouse all of Anatolia. No one could stop me…”

If I am angry at this nonsensical man and those like him, then I am a scoundrel...

My real anger is directed at my former friend, whom these religious fascists have deceived, and at so-called leftists-democrats like Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu...
