Fingers went up and down; the 2024 Budget prepared in the Palace was accepted in Parliament...
It has become clear which organization will receive how much money...
Well, to what extent do we actually "accept" these institutions that are allocated such massive budgets?
Speaking for myself; after 22 years of AKP rule, the Republic of Turkey has become an absurd country...
I love my homeland. I love my country's people, its mountains, its stones, its wolves, its birds, its cats, its dogs.
I love its air, its sea.
But I suppose that is all!
*
I do not love or trust the politicians of this country.
As for the bureaucrats, they are only concerned with protecting their seats...
Lawyers, let alone distributing justice, are usurping rights and the law.
Teachers and academics are cowardly, barracks have surrendered to religious politics...
Police and gendarmerie; they pump fear, not trust!
Imams are suffering from power poisoning, party meetings are being held in mosques!
A whole country is being governed by superstitions, not science!
For the determination of the minimum wage, labor and employer unions and Ministry of Labor experts hold meetings for two weeks, even if just for show, but the President determines the figure!
Even football has become ugly in my beautiful country; fists are doing the talking on the pitches, and a mob-like group of administrators is spewing hatred and anger!
Journalists are writing fake news in plain sight, writers are stealing money from women's purses, and commentators are taking money from municipalities!
*
Let's come to the budgeted institutions and organizations:
The Speaker of Parliament looks into the mouth of the partisan president.
The Vice President is good for nothing but being his master's voice.
The main opposition party is focused only on defending itself, and the Constitutional Court is in a state where it cannot even make its word heard by lower courts...
Politics, not law, is being produced at the Court of Cassation.
The Council of State has lost its identity, and there is no one left who takes the Court of Accounts' reports seriously...
All the ministers are the same... Recep Tayyip Erdoğan!
YÖK (Council of Higher Education) has made education paid...
ÖSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center) has burned, finished, and turned to ash with the shame of being found guilty of leaking questions multiple times...
The Chief of General Staff is afraid to even speak, fearing he will be "declared a coup plotter and thrown into a cell." Military schools are managed not by commanders, but by religious sects.
The General Directorate of Press and Information has been transformed into the Directorate of Communications, and even the yellow press cards have been painted in turquoise, the color of this government... Yet, it is still called a "yellow press card..."
The symbol of the Supreme Election Council (YSK) is the "almond mustache..." In every election, it signs off on an irrational decision or practice. The candidate it approves is elected as a member of parliament, but an ordinary court does not accept this, and the YSK members stand where they are as if their own decisions had not been violated.
As for the Grand National Assembly of Turkey... The "Turkey" part is correct, the rest is a lie... There is no "grandeur" left in Parliament; every draft law has become something prepared in the palace... Nor is there any "nation!"
The leader of the religious and racist party that says the country could be divided is giving speeches in that Parliament, and the leader of the supposedly "nationalist" party is watching with a smile so that the alliance does not break!
Even bar associations have been divided; the government has created its own bar associations...
MIT (National Intelligence Organization) is busy producing TV series for TRT-1!
Rectors are servants, the Turkish Language and History Institution is asleep, and RTÜK (Radio and Television Supreme Council) is undermining freedom of thought and expression.
TÜBİTAK (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) gives the "science award of the year" to a "Read-over bean" project.
The Capital Markets Board has become a toy for speculators; it remains a spectator to the "sucker-shearing operations" in the markets.
Anadolu Agency fails every election night, and TRT pays billions to series producers trying to create fake history.
Civil society has collapsed, professional organizations are cowed... Not a peep from anyone!
*
There is one more institution, of course; don't think I forgot...
The Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet), which has a budget larger than six ministries!
This institution, managed by an anti-Atatürk president who gives fatwas with a sword in his hand, recently distributed a book to its employees...
According to this book titled "Frequently Asked Questions About the Family";
It is not religiously "permissible" for engaged couples to communicate via mobile phones or the internet, with or without video...
The book also considers it haram for an engaged woman to kiss her father-in-law's hand...
Now I want to say, "Hey, dear sirs, is there such a sin in the Holy Quran? Or did the prophet say anything about a mobile phone ban? The Turkish people are becoming atheists because of these absurdities you make up out of thin air," but... What's the use!
*
I have listed all the state institutions and organizations that are budgeted for you; this is the state of them all...
Only the General Directorate of Meteorology remains...
I must give them their due; the citizens of the Republic of Turkey trust only this institution! Whatever they forecast, the weather turns out that way!
I'm glad you exist, meteorology employees...
You are by far the most reliable institution in this country!
We are proud of you all!
