The way to make Turkey the world's 'number one'!

Economist Selçuk Geçer, whom I know from his commentary on the economy on television, has said, “The Turkish Lira's loss of value against the US Dollar will increase even more starting from September. The markets are still trading the dollar at around 34 liras, but the actual exchange rate it should be at right now is 60 liras”...

Who cares!

This dire commentary is of absolutely no concern to the 60 million people currently living in this country!

If you have no money, if you are buried up to your neck in credit card or loan debt...

If you cannot pay your home rent, if you cannot replace the goods you sell...

If you are content with just swallowing hard while browsing the shop windows in the city and the stalls at the market...

If you are complaining, saying, “A simit has become 20 liras, my friend”...

Whether the dollar is 6 liras or 60 liras; it makes no difference to you...

Because even if you multiply “zero” by a million...

It is zero.

If you have no money, you have none.

If you have a lot, you have a lot!

The real problem is that those with no money at all and those with a lot of money live together, and the gap between them is growing every single day.

If you truly want to place Turkey at the very top of the list of “developed countries” with the highest per capita national income...

Just as you dropped six zeros from the TL years ago...

This time, strip the 60 million people living below the hunger and poverty line of their citizenship!

In one move, raise the per capita national income to over 70 thousand dollars!

Just as you removed the TL from circulation and called it YTL, change the country's name to YTC as well!

There are 24.5 million households in this country...

Approximately 4 million of them cannot pay their electricity bills.

The monthly income of these households (assuming a household consists of four people) is one-third of the minimum wage; that is, only 5 thousand 600 liras!

What are you doing for these people?

Nothing...

Do not even try to accuse me of “being divisive” or “trying to divide and polarize the country.”

The Republic of Turkey is, of course, an indivisible whole; no one has the power to divide it!

You have truly divided this country...

You did this during the 22 years you have been in power...

If today 5 percent of the population is competing with Ireland, the richest country in the world, while another 5 percent has to live on an income even lower than that of the poorest country, Burundi...

If one is traveling the world in private jets, eating breakfast in Rome, lunch in Paris, and dinner in London; while the other cannot even afford to get on a municipal bus...

If one is spending 1 million liras a year to send their child to a private school, while the other is forced into Imam Hatip schools due to poverty...

I am not the culprit of this division, of this polarization...

You are the ones who divide and polarize!
