Would you want to put a knife in your child's hand and ask them to slaughter an animal?

Or would you take them by the hand and lead them to the tomb of one of the murderers of Martyr Kubilay in Menemen?

Would you accept a model grave being brought into the classroom and having them wail as if their mother had died?

How would you react to your child, whom you sent to school, being taken out of class to a mosque for the Regaip Kandili?

Would you look favorably upon them wearing a scarf with a Palestinian flag around their neck, posing with their hands handcuffed behind their back, and having this shared on social media with the hashtag "Honorable Palestinian Stance"?

Would you allow them to circumambulate a model of the Kaaba?

And a more important question:

Which one of you did any of the things I listed above during your school years?

Let me tell you; none of you...

None of us were subjected to any of these absurdities!

But these are our children, whom we cherish and protect like the apple of our eye.

Our young girls are being made to wail. Instead of the joy of living, "maternal grief" is being ingrained into those tiny minds.

Young boys are being given knives and asked to pretend to perform a sacrifice.

Mufti officials are taking primary school students to the grave of Esad Erbili, who was tried and sentenced to life imprisonment for the reactionary Menemen uprising, and making them pray.

According to the news in yesterday's Sözcü newspaper, this reactionary siege in schools is not limited to this.

Incredible news comes from all corners of the country almost every day.

You know; in our time, we used to conduct experiments in laboratories... Now, children are being taken to tombs on trips supervised by provincial and district muftis.

The Elvan Çelebi tomb in the Mecitözü district of Çorum, the Çobandede tomb in Adana, and the Hz. Üftade tombs in Bursa are overflowing with primary school students every day...

All of this is the work of the "I Am Sensitive to My Environment, I Protect My Values" (ÇEDES) project, which was implemented nationwide for the first time this year through a protocol signed between the Ministry of National Education and the Presidency of Religious Affairs!

The project's name includes "environmental sensitivity," but since the implementers are imams, muezzins, preachers, hajis, and hodjas, the implementation has turned into the "exploitation of religious feelings"...

Dear mothers and fathers...

In short, the schools you send your children to for a modern education have turned into "booby traps."

In line with the "orders" and wishes of the "number one person of the current government," our schools are no longer raising generations loyal to their homeland, nation, and Atatürk's principles and revolutions, but rather "vindictive" generations.

Science, biology, mathematics, geography, Turkish, English no longer matter...

What matters is Arabic and religious education!

When that happens, instead of a generation that asks questions, is open to the world, and is curious about literature and art, a strange generation is being raised...

Believe me; even five hundred years ago, education in this country was not this reactionary!

Our children are in great danger...

Their brains are being washed with superstitions, and instead of humanism, they are being taught to "shed blood."

They are being given knives instead of pens.

Instead of the joy of living and hope, grief and despair are being carved into their hearts!

Believe me, the real concern of those doing this is not that your children become religious...

Their only concern is to destroy the Republic of Turkey, which is a secular, democratic, and social state of law...

And the most terrifying part is that they are pursuing these goals with the salaries they receive from the taxes we pay!
