What does Yiğit Bulut want to do?

“Yiğit Bulut” was once a courageous columnist and economic commentator who never stopped talking about Atatürk and who tore apart those who instrumentalized the government and religion for politics.

He would never turn down invitations from CHP organizations and the Association of Kemalist Thought (ADD), giving conference after conference.

In the opposition newspaper of the time, VATAN, he wrote repeatedly that the government was leading the country toward a religious state, that the economic policies it implemented would hurt future generations, and that democracy and freedoms were being trampled underfoot.

Those who stood by Atatürk’s principles and revolutions held him in high regard.

And in those days, it was constantly written that one day he would enter politics from the CHP, and the next he would take over the leadership of the MHP.

***

The first change in this friend Yiğit began when he went “over the ocean” upon an invitation and had a conversation with Fethullah Gülen.

With the articles he wrote three days in a row, he actually gave signs of his “turnaround”…

However, he was so Kemalist (!) that no one even wanted to think about it.

During the days when the Ergenekon investigations gained momentum and the police began detention raids on journalists' homes, he left VATAN and vanished into thin air...

According to media circles, he thought it was his turn to be arrested in the Ergenekon case and was gripped by great fear. He had set sail on a luxury boat belonging to a businessman friend and started living in the blue waters.

When he became convinced that he would not be arrested, and after receiving guarantees of this from his prosecutor friends who were members of the cult, he returned to land months later!

***

And that was that...

Suddenly, he was made the Editor-in-Chief of Habertürk TV, which was close to the government.

During the days he spent at sea, he had renewed himself so much (!) that, except for his gelled hair, there was no resemblance left to his old identity!

He was now the “Fake Yiğit”...

In television programs and newspaper articles, he began to explain what the ruling party had brought to Turkey, how well the economy was being managed, and that everyone in the opposition was stupid for not seeing these facts.

In the channel he managed, he fired programmers who “did not want to act as government cheerleaders.”

In his programs, he hosted Prime Minister Erdoğan, ministers, and AKP deputies—whom he once fiercely criticized—more than a hundred times in total, and asked them “softball questions”!

He received the reward for these efforts by being appointed as Chief Advisor to the President.

When the paths of FETÖ and the AKP began to diverge, he took his stance in favor of the AKP and became Erdoğan’s “number one man.”

He infiltrated all important state institutions such as Türk Telekom and the Wealth Fund.

You might say, “There is already a minister in charge of the economy, what does this friend do?”

He is crashing the economy! That is his job, too…

Yes; you read that right…

Whenever there is some trickery in the money markets or the stock exchange, this friend turns out to be behind it.

Circles close to these markets say that he is one of the biggest money-stock market speculators in Turkey, that everyone—and of course the Capital Markets Board—knows this, but because of the seat he occupies, no one can do anything.

Do you want an example?

Let me give you one:

***

On August 11, 2018, he appeared on a television channel and refuted the then-Minister of State for the Economy and Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan, who said, “The dollar will be 3.90 lira at the end of the year.”

He claimed that the dollar would definitely not be 3.90 lira at the end of the year and that those who said otherwise should immediately apologize to the citizens.

He even accused Babacan of manipulation.

“You so-and-sos who say buy foreign currency at 3.50, 3.60, come out and apologize. If the dollar exceeds 3 liras, spit in my face,” he declared.

And then what happened?

Millions of citizens believed him and sold their dollars, switching to TL.

Immediately afterward, let alone 3.90 TL, the dollar suddenly exceeded 7 TL.

Today, it is racing toward 35 liras!

Well; was anyone able to spit in his face?

Let alone spitting, was anyone able to hold him accountable?

Of course not!

***

In those days, everyone lost… One of the rare people who did not lose was this friend.

Let the accounts belonging to him, his relatives, and his superiors (!) from that period be investigated; I claim that it will be seen that he and his close circle never exited the dollar.

On the contrary, he made a huge killing by collecting as many dollars and euros as he could.

***

Everyone in the AKP and the Palace knows that Yiğit Bulut actually has only one job:

And that is to make the foreign exchange markets and the stock exchange a gateway for profit by making strange statements and moves…

To earn millions and help others earn millions by doing the exact opposite of the advice he gives to the nation!

Now this friend has come out and said, “Israel will attack Turkey!”

Unbelievable!

***

Look at the words spoken by a person who holds the title of Chief Advisor to the President!

Wouldn't these words trigger a war even if one wasn't going to happen?

Wouldn't it cause panic among the citizens?

Wouldn't it send the dollar and the euro skyrocketing?

Wouldn't it cause the stock market to hit rock bottom?

Wouldn't it create excessive demand in commodity markets?

Wouldn't the people invest everything they have in pasta and rice because they think a war is coming?

And wouldn't this cause the inflation that Mehmet Şimşek is trying to lower by squeezing the throats of low-income citizens to explode?

***

Fine; I understand this Fake Yiğit; he is doing his job!

But doesn't President Erdoğan see this?

If he sees it, why doesn't he stop him?

Why doesn't he say, “What is it to you about war or whatever?”

Excuse me?

What did you say?

Yes, exactly that…

But you, be careful, don't tell anyone.

Otherwise, you will be in big trouble!
