Winners, losers!

The local elections have ended, and the gray clouds above us have dispersed.

The uncertainties have come to an end.

So, who won and who lost?

President Erdoğan LOST.

Those who were eager to change the constitution for the umpteenth time so that he could become president again LOST.

You know the other candidates who entered the election and lost, but the AKP LOST by emerging as the second party in an election for the first time in its history.

The AKP's candidates for Ankara and İzmir, primarily Murat Kurum, LOST.

The 17 ministers who were sent to Istanbul to support Murat Kurum LOST.

Those who placed bets among themselves and put their money on AKP candidates LOST.

Former Adnan Hoca follower Acun Ilıcalı, who declares his loyalty to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan before every election, and the palace's permanent singers and artists LOST.

We cannot go without specifically mentioning him; Orhan Gencebay, who composed a song for Murat Kurum, LOST.

As of today, the "crony contractors" who did business with AKP and MHP municipalities that have now passed to the CHP, the religious associations and foundations that snatched real estate for free from these municipalities and received millions of liras in funding, and the consultants who received generous salaries LOST.

The taxi mafia in Istanbul LOST.

Former CHP mayors who switched to other parties or ran as independents because they were not nominated LOST.

The sell-out pollsters who showed AKP candidates, who lost to their rivals by the smallest margin yesterday, as "neck and neck" in polls conducted for millions of liras LOST.

Devlet Bahçeli, who supports Recep Tayyip Erdoğan under any circumstances, LOST.

All the partners of the People's Alliance, both large and small, LOST.

Those who believed in Kanal Istanbul and invested their money in fields LOST.

İYİ Party leader Meral Akşener, who refused to enter the elections in an alliance by saying "on our own," dealt a major blow to the CHP, and acted with disloyalty, LOST, never to win again.

Former Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who is said to have opened an office in Ankara and started collecting signatures from delegates to call for an extraordinary meeting of the CHP Congress after a possible election defeat, LOST, never to return!

And the sycophants in the media who tied their futures to the AKP remaining in power LOST.

Whether they live in the palace or not; all the arrogant ones LOST.

It is possible to lengthen the list of losers, but I leave it to you to list the rest. If you are very curious, look carefully at everyone's face today... You will immediately understand who lost.

Now let's come to the winners:

Retirees, laborers, young people, and women, who dealt a resounding slap to the AKP government after exactly 22 years, WON. Perhaps no money entered their pockets, but at least their hearts were soothed.

The CHP WON. It became the first party. And now it has truly earned the right to be the "main opposition party."

The fresh-faced Chairman Özgür Özel WON in a way that even he did not expect.

With this victory, Ekrem İmamoğlu, whose path to the Presidency in the 2028 elections has been cleared, WON.

All incumbent metropolitan mayors, especially Mansur Yavaş (those who were nominated), both kept their seats and GAINED great prestige.

The "Hope for Democracy Again" won.

Those who said, "The country is not ownerless, we are here. We are not your puppets," won.

If we are more hopeful today than we were yesterday...
