You have made the state sloppy!

Don't leave your news choices to an algorithm - decide for yourself what you read. Add 12punto to your preferred sources!

You have likely heard the good news:

The government has taken a step back regarding the 5,000 lira bonus for the 100th anniversary of the Republic, which had been granted to retirees but denied to those who are still working...

President Erdoğan announced this good news (!) at the Teachers' Day Program the other evening, stating, "Leaving out a portion of our retirees in this bonus payment was a situation that we also did not find fair. I gave the instruction to our ministers at our cabinet meeting. Our ministers have completed their preparations. We will submit the necessary legislative proposal to Parliament next week."

Thus, he announced that 4 million 689 thousand more retirees would benefit from these payments...

*

But still...

Why didn't you make this decision earlier then?

If you did not find it fair that working retirees were not given the bonus, why did you allow it?

You have ministers...

You have deputy ministers...

Your general managers, department heads...

Not enough; you have three or five advisors for every subject in your palace!

Did none of them come out and say, "We are doing this wrong. We are usurping the rights of 4 million 689 thousand retirees"?

By the way; which bright mind suggested that bonuses should not be given to retirees who have to work because they cannot make ends meet?

*

Governing a state is a serious business.

It is not child's play.

It is certainly not a "trial and error" game.

More care should be taken when making such decisions that concern large segments of society.

Some meddler will come out and say, "Sir, you promised a bonus, but the country's economy is in a difficult situation... Working retirees are already earning money. It's fine if we don't give it to them," and other meddlers will nod their heads, and you will say, "Okay, let's do that"...

Then, unable to withstand the reactions that follow, you will shift into reverse, saying, "This was a situation that we also did not find fair"...

*

You have made the state sloppy, Mr. Erdoğan!

You have broken even the mechanisms that were running smoothly. You have made them unreliable.

With your meddling deputies...

With your nodding ministers...

With your sycophantic bureaucrats...

With your subservient advisors...

With your partisan journalists... You have turned this country into a tribal state!

You have become unable to do any job without errors or omissions!

For some reason, you have even started signing off on things you "do not find fair"...

You have cast a shadow over the century-old seriousness, justice, and nobility of the state.

For the sake of stubbornness, you said "Nas" (religious decree) and made the nation suffer...

Then you said "back up" and made the low-income earners regret it even more.

*

We are tired of your "mehter" steps (two steps forward, one step back), Mr. Erdoğan...

Of your double games...

Of your unreliable actions...

We are weary of your good cop-bad cop theater...

I know; you are not the only one responsible for this amateurism and incompetence.

But why don't you hold those who deceived you and dragged you into these mistakes accountable?

Why don't you take them with you, stand in front of the cameras once, and say, "We did this job this way, but we realized it was wrong. We apologize and are correcting it. We are also parting ways with these friends who caused us to make this mistake"?

Not only do you not do this, but you also act as if you are "bestowing a favor" or "announcing good news"...

While giving us our money, which is as legitimate as our mother's milk, you put us in the position of a beggar!

*

I know you won't listen, but...

We are fed up, Mr. President!

We are very distressed...

Except for a few million fanatics and your paid soldiers, all of us

are gossiping about you everywhere!

And not even behind your back, look, we are saying it openly like this:

You are not a sultan, and we are certainly not your subjects...

Tell those acrobats of yours in the palace to do their jobs properly!
