Who are these 38 soldiers?
They are those who fell as martyrs at home, in Iraq, or in Syria between June 11 and December 12, following the elections in May.
And this number does not include our gendarmerie and village guards.
As our 38 soldiers departed one by one, three by three, five by five, how many people cared?.. Wasn't it brushed off as a single-column news item in three or four newspapers?.. Didn't the authorities settle for dry messages of condolence?..
Did we really have to lose 12 martyrs in two days for us to stand up?
And now that we have stood up, what has changed? They won't even let us ask the questions: "Where are the mistakes being made, who is responsible, and how will this course of events be stopped?"
They started fighting tooth and nail over the martyrs. And even at their funeral prayers!..
Oh politics, what a disgusting thing you are?! Oh elections, what a value you have, even beyond the lives of our children?!
Don't say a single word to the patrons of separatist terror, just devour each other!..
If the roots of the terrorists are to be eradicated; go ahead, shut down the CHP, and throw Özgür Özel in jail too.
But we know that the concern is not to end terror, but to beat the saddle instead of the donkey, to divert the target, and to gather votes...
LOOK AT THOSE AT YOUR SIDE TOO
The PKK, under the guidance of the US and all manner of imperialists, does not commit terror just for the sake of it; it serves the realization of the Treaty of Sèvres.
Yesterday, Erdoğan was saying, "You have been frustrated many times in 21 years, and you will lose once again. We know your games, we know your ambitions."
Is it a frustration that in these 21 years, "Barzanistan" has been established in Iraq; and "Kobanistan" has been established in Syria with its so-called parliament, army, judiciary, and finally its so-called constitution?!
And who were the ones supporting the division of Iraq and Syria for these legs of a "Greater Israel" or "Greater Kurdistan"?
In what climate did the PKK's rhetoric of "autonomy, education in the mother tongue, and the recognition of Kurdish identity in the Constitution" become "fermented" (DEM-lendi) and start being voiced from the podiums of the Parliament?
So, the CHP and the PKK's political extension DEM are together, is that it?
Well, doesn't HÜDA PAR, which is at your side, also advocate for the "unification of the four parts of Kurdistan," the making of Kurdish an official language, the recognition of Kurdish identity, the erasure of "How happy is the one who says I am a Turk" signs, and furthermore, making the Turkish Flag the "flag of Turkey," and even abolishing mandatory military service in favor of the right to conscientious objection?
And what's more, while we had 12 martyrs, didn't the chairman of this party have the audacity just yesterday to say from the Parliament podium that "governance models such as the provincial system, autonomy, and federation should be discussed freely"?
THEY DID NOT MENTION THE MARTYRS FOR 5 DAYS
Another note regarding this partner of the People's Alliance: They have a newspaper called Doğru Haber.
While the Turkish Nation has been mourning its 12 martyrs since Friday, they did not mention the martyrs even in a single line on their front page... Because their sole agenda was Gaza... So much so that while news of the widely attended marches held in many of our provinces on the occasion of the "World Day of Martyred Children," which was accepted for the martyred children of Gaza, was placed at the very top of yesterday's issue, Turkey's own martyred children were once again not deemed worthy of note!.. Only today, in a single-column announcement on the front page, without even mentioning the "m" for martyrs, it was stated that "26 PKK members were killed"!..
Do you have a word to say?!
In three or five days, our 12 martyrs will be forgotten anyway, won't they? Only political fights will remain of them...
In the midst of this fight, if only some of you would address a very urgent issue!..
You have seen it; Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler and other officials visited our wounded in the hospital in Şırnak.
Where are our military hospitals that were once an example to the world?
It has been exactly 1 year and 4 months since the previous Minister of Defense, AKP Deputy Hulusi Akar, said, "We have demands, requests, and needs regarding this matter. Our President has directives for a solution to be created, and our Minister of Health has a positive approach. Hopefully, we will put them on track in the coming days."!..
Fine, let's not ask or question anything; but at the very least, if we were to ask, "How many more martyrs are you waiting for to open the military hospitals?" would you allow us, I wonder?!
