Being the 'stick' of the US!..

Except for a change in method—coming not with their soldiers, but through terrorist organizations, threats, or money—the imperialists, who have not deviated a millimeter from their ambitions regarding our country, came to Ankara, which Atatürk made the capital to fight them, ate and drank together, had the TBMM closed, and left after inflicting a thousand and one torments on us, the grandchildren of the Seymens.

There are those who are troubled by the fact that Trump, Erdoğan's chief guest, did not visit Anıtkabir. With what face would someone who complains through the mouth of the colonial governor here that “we have been blocked by nation-states since 1919” and who proposes a “benevolent monarchy” for our region go before Atatürk, who tore up the Treaty of Sèvres based on Wilsonian principles and founded the unitary national Republic of Turkey?!

Billions were spent on the back of a nation suffering from hunger and unemployment, but what other bills will be issued? We shall soon see whether Turkey has become the central country of NATO, whether NATO has set itself up in the middle of Ankara, or whether Trump is building a new NATO within NATO for our region.

The MİT Chief's “Position” Warning

Speaking of Turkey's position in NATO; MİT Chief İbrahim Kalın, speaking at the “Allies in Ankara” program held within the scope of the summit, stated that while Turkey is described in international literature as the “southern flank of NATO,” this is only geographically correct, and made this remarkable observation:

"Do we call England a northern flank country of NATO? No, we do not. It is incomprehensible that Turkey is constantly defined as NATO's southern flank country. NATO has one center, and that is in Brussels. Beyond that, we do not find the center-periphery definition correct. We do not accept the establishment of hierarchies among allies in NATO. We base our cooperation on the principle of equal relations.”

Kalın said these things; but Erdoğan himself, in his closing speech at the summit, said, “For decades, the security of NATO's southeastern flank has been largely entrusted to our country. Turkey has rightfully protected this trust. We have been an ally that has always fulfilled its duties within the alliance properly and paid the price when necessary.”

Trump is Also a Child Killer

The pro-government media is ecstatic with Trump's “gifts.” And what are these so-called gifts? Planes for which we paid but which they are sitting on, or engines for which we will pay. What naive citizens like us do not understand is this: while it is being told that we are soaring in the defense industry, what is the explanation for being so dependent on them? And furthermore, what good will it do us once the controls of everything to be purchased are in the hands of the US?!

Aside from his contribution to the massacres in Israel; let us talk about Iran, the real radish Trump pulled out of his bag—Trump, who is a child killer who knowingly slaughtered 168 children in Iran and who said of the genocidal Netanyahu, “He is a great wartime prime minister. If he hadn't been so good, Israel wouldn't be here today.”

What Does (Did) Erdoğan Think About Nuclear Weapons?

While praising Turkey's “loyalty” fresh off the plane, he claimed, “They could have joined the war. They are very strong but they didn't. Maybe they didn't because of me,” and emphasized that he was “sure Erdoğan would not want Iran to possess nuclear weapons.”

Let us open a parenthesis here and recall the stance Erdoğan has displayed on this issue for decades. He said;

“If Iran is doing this as a weapon of mass destruction, those who tell it 'Don't do this' should also not have nuclear weapons... Turkey does not want nuclear weapons in the region. But we should not focus only on Iran. On my last trip to the US, I said, 'Why don't we talk about Israel too?'... No one is holding anyone accountable for the nuclear-armed weapons in Israel... When it is not asked, we do not get the impression of honesty... Some have nuclear-tipped missiles in their hands. Not one, not two. Why shouldn't I have them; I do not accept this.”

“Erdoğan Doesn't Like Iran”

Let us continue with his statements about Iran in Ankara, 2,000 kilometers away from Tehran, to see what kind of a bandit we are dealing with. Until he left, he said the following in order:

- “I have great respect for the President (Erdoğan). We will most likely talk about Iran too. We have largely destroyed their army. They will not be able to have nuclear weapons... NATO disappointed me a lot... I wasn't asking for help regarding Iran. We spent trillions of dollars to protect Europe. We said, 'Maybe they would want to help us.' England said we would help you after the war was over. I was testing people.”

- “I love President Erdoğan... He didn't enter the war. He wanted to. He would have. If it weren't for me, he would have entered and taken the other side... I don't think Erdoğan likes Iran either.”

- “(Iran) had hundreds of planes, they are all gone. Their leaders are gone too. Their war capacity has completely dropped. They have a low percentage of their missiles left in their hands... The Iran War was a tremendous military success... They have no army left. 159 ships are at the bottom of the sea... All their air defense systems were wiped out in one day. Their leaders were also wiped out... They are filth and have been behaving this way for 47 years. They need to be stopped... I got to know the Iranians. I don't think I want to make a deal with them... I need to ensure that lunatics do not possess nuclear weapons.”

- “We have now done what should have been done for Iran 47 years ago... We destroyed the armies of Venezuela and Iran. We annihilated Iran. Everything is gone, their leaders are gone too.”

Erdoğan's Stance and the “Strike” Order

So what did Erdoğan do in the face of these delusions and threats from Trump regarding our neighbor? He sufficed by saying, “I appreciate the determined stance supported by my friend Mr. Trump, despite sabotage attempts, in the resolution of the Iran crisis. We are ready to provide the necessary contribution to clear the Strait of Hormuz of mines.”

After this, Trump declared that the ceasefire with Iran was over and, in the middle of Ankara, gave the order for our neighbor to be struck... And as expected, while it was stated in the NATO Summit Final Declaration that “allies once again emphasized that Iran should never possess nuclear weapons,” a call was made to “Iran to fully respect freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.”

We are coming to this; what if Iran had struck somewhere in our country instead of US bases in the Gulf for retaliation this time?!

It is clear how much Trump, who loves Erdoğan so much, cares about our country (!).

Meanwhile, let us add this to Doğu Perinçek, who said for the NATO Summit Declaration, which targets not only Iran but also Russia, “The signature under it is not Turkey's, but the AK Party's signature”:

AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik also participated in the inter-delegation meetings Erdoğan held with Trump and German Chancellor Merz.

From Obama's Baseball Bat to Today

How much was it talked about when then-US President Obama posed with a baseball bat while talking to Erdoğan on the phone in 2012; you remember, don't you?

Now, Trump loves Erdoğan, and our “domestic and national” pro-government media loves Trump very much.

It is such a dizzying love that they have reached the point of saying, “Trump is disciplining Netanyahu with Turkey's power,” “The US is beating Israel with Turkey... Trump is practically trying to use Turkey to set Israel straight. Perhaps he is trying to save himself from the trap that holds him hostage in this way.”

Aside from ignoring the warning to Netanyahu that “I am the boss” and the words “He left Israel alone. I cannot say Erdoğan is Netanyahu's friend, but they are in agreement,” what kind of patriotism is it to accept that Trump is using this great country as a “stick”?

At this rate, I hope they don't suggest we be used as a “stick” in disciplining Iran too!..
