The 'Biji Seroklar' meeting!..

While Erdoğan was lashing out at the opposition again the other day, he said, "You see those who were showering each other with praise just two years ago, now adorning the headlines as the main actors of a throat-slitting fight."

We are seeing the opposite of this as well. Those who were at each other's throats yesterday are showering each other with praise today. Like the deep affection developing between the AKP-MHP-DEM, and the terrorist leader in Imralı being turned into a "founding leader"!..

They must think our nation is suffering from memory loss. That is why I will insist on continuing to remind them.

Let us once again refer to MHP Leader Devlet Bahçeli during the first 'opening' (peace process) period.

He stated that what they understood by counter-terrorism was not "clinging to the PKK and approving of a state of helplessness and decay, asking 'what do you want from me'," but rather "shaking Kandil, Barzani, and Imralı with the majesty of the Turkish Nation."

While emphasizing at every opportunity that the project called the "opening" was backed by the Greater Middle East Project (BOP) and global power centers, as well as Barzani, he used the following expressions:

"Those who want to see a terrorist... should focus on Barzani's face..."

"The head of the Peshmerga, who chases after pipe dreams, will meet with a nightmare; if he persists in his stubbornness, he will surely find his trouble... The protector and supporter of the PKK, the hope of the murderers of our soldiers, is the leader of the Barzan tribe, Masoud Barzani... We remind Barzani, who in the past told Turkey 'we won't even give you a cat,' of his grandfather's fate in a very concise and clear way, and we advise him to watch his step... The Peshmerga is in the wake of foreign powers and Israel, which has evil intentions in the region. Barzani's strings are in the hands of others, his will is paralyzed."

Bahçeli's reaction to Barzani continued not only during the opening process but also after becoming a partner in the People's Alliance (Cumhur İttifakı):

"Barzani is a collaborator in oppression. He is the name of betrayal in Iraq. Together with the Barzani gang, he is the usher and hitman of the Devil... In every drop of martyr's blood shed, this Peshmerga boil has its fingerprints and an indelible sin."

"All findings, information, and evidence have shown that the Peshmerga transported PKK militants to Kirkuk. We were not speaking empty words when we called Barzani a murderer of Turkish soldiers... If necessary, Barzani should be captured and brought here..."

"Whether Barzani is in office or not; his book has long been closed, his business long finished, his plug long pulled, and his time has long since expired."

THE AHMET DAVUTOĞLU FILE

One of the names Bahçeli targeted both during his Prime Ministry and afterwards was Ahmet Davutoğlu.

He frequently brought up his calling Barzani "Kak Masut" (Brother Masut) and accused Davutoğlu of "carrying water to the mill of the Barzani lobby"... He gave him the nickname "Serok Ahmet" (Leader Ahmet)...

Between 2021 and 2024, for example, he said the following:

"Serok Ahmet should stop the sedition; there is no bread to feed him here. His leadership is the hope of separatism, the reward of the terrorist organization, and the code for dynamiting the foundations of Turkey. Serok Ahmet, who shamelessly portrays us as enemies of Kurds and the Kurdish language, is in the grip of heedlessness; he is the exact photocopy of Haris Ibn Jabala, who is remembered in history as a Byzantine collaborator, and he is the ultimate slanderer. Serok Ahmet is struggling in the mud of humiliation."

"Those who strike at the Serok's tongue are the work of his corrupted and moss-covered heart. Turkey was almost brought to disaster by a calamity. Thank goodness, the necessary action was taken in time. Look, Serok, you will say Diyarbakır, not Amed... Your proposal for a federation in Syria is proof that you are effectively Ahmet of Kobani. Know your place, have some dignity. You and your masters cannot pass Turkey, do not forget this."

"It is my advice and wish for the sake of political and social peace that Serok Ahmet, who claims to have been a Nationalist (Ülkücü) since the age of five, undergo an urgent mental and spiritual check-up, and if the situation is dire, be kept in an inpatient facility for a long time."

"Serok should be careful; once the wolf's eyes are bloodshot, he cannot escape even by fleeing to Kobani."

"Serok is now playing his cards openly. And he has sunk so low as to defend PKK theses. Serok Ahmet is a trouble wrapped around Turkey's head, a commanded mandate-seeker, and a political arsonist with his past and future."

"The 'DEM-infused' CHP, DEVA, Serok, and others are in line with the Imralı villain, the terrorist leader Gülen, the PKK, the Pharaoh, the occupiers, and the colonialists."

THEY UNITED IN THE SECOND OPENING

Let us come to the current opening initiated by Bahçeli.

The Barzanis are involved again, and they do not hide that they are "mediating"...

There is not a millimeter of change in Ahmet Davutoğlu's views, and his rapport with the Barzanis continues exactly as it was...

How do we know?

He immediately supported Bahçeli's call for a "joint commission on counter-terrorism," saying, "This call is a necessity of common sense and social consensus for Turkey to get rid of the terror scourge."

Between May 18-23, he organized a "public diplomacy tour" to northern Iraq. On the occasion of this tour, while going to Sulaymaniyah via Kirkuk due to the embargo imposed by the Republic of Turkey on the PUK (KYB), which is a patron of the PKK/YPG, he saw no harm in finding himself in a position to recognize the PUK-affiliated Kirkuk Governor Rebwar Taha, who was chosen in a hotel in Baghdad, and had the honor of stepping on a red carpet in a non-existent VIP lounge!..

In his statements, while embracing the "solution process" and listing the differences between 2013 and today, the first thing he emphasized was this:

"In 2013, Turkey's democratic standards were high, its external support was strong, and it had the economic power to devote to this business. When the Solution Process was announced, we were all in the field. That day, there was a strong nationalist bloc in front of us. Today, that is gone."

Anything else?

While reporting that the KDP and PUK members were open to all kinds of cooperation in the "solution process," he argued that he was saddened by the embargo imposed on Sulaymaniyah and that it should be lifted...

In fact, he met with not only Nechirvan Barzani but also Masoud Barzani for 4 hours; he thanked them for the "support they gave to the process"...

While stating that "Nechirvan Barzani and Mr. Masoud were particularly curious about Bahçeli and said, 'We are praying for his health'," he explained what he told Masoud Barzani:

"A person is the enemy of what they do not know. As they get to know what they do not know, those hostilities and psychological factors disappear; prejudices are replaced by common feelings and cultural elements. It is beneficial for anxious Turkish nationalists in Turkey to come and see the friendship for Turkey here. When they see Turkish being spoken in the Erbil bazaar, they will see that this place is not a threat, but a hinterland of Turkey. Similarly, anxious Kurdish nationalists in Northern Iraq need to enter into close relations with their counterparts in Turkey. They, too, will see that our differences are not even a drop in the ocean compared to our commonalities."

And he even said that "a similar process should be carried out in Syria"...

After returning to the country, Davutoğlu made the following statements about Bahçeli:

"Mr. Bahçeli had mocked me for many years by calling me 'Serok Ahmet'. These things happen in politics, I don't dwell on them. From the moment the process started, I sent two letters to Mr. Bahçeli. Before 1-2 hours passed, he called and said, 'Mr. Prime Minister, I agree with your opinions'."

Then, while announcing that he would send "comprehensive letters containing his observations and recommendations" to Erdoğan and Bahçeli regarding his tour in northern Iraq, he spoke as follows:

"Let us not forget that the towns whose names make some people's hair stand on end are ours. Hasakah, Qamishli, Kirkuk, Sulaymaniyah, Erbil, Tal Afar, Altun Kupri are ours; that is, they belong to the peoples of the Middle East, not to foreigners. Despite all the borders drawn on these lands, which are the common geography of us all, they are ours with our common culture, our food, our joys, our sorrows, and our hopes. We are on the verge of getting rid of the shackles and burdens in our minds, especially the terrorist organizations..."

"Even though some accuse us of idealism based on their narrow ideological worlds, I do not shy away from making this analogy at all; I underline once again that a military, commercial, cultural, and social integration similar to the European Union will not be a distant dream."

Davutoğlu must have sent the letter he mentioned immediately, as it was reported that he received a thank-you call from MHP Leader Bahçeli two days later.

After these developments, whether Bahçeli will make a "thank you" call to Barzani, whom he once wanted to be captured and brought to Turkey, and exchange holiday greetings, or whether Davutoğlu and the Barzanis will say "Biji Serok" for Bahçeli, is unknown; but let us end with Erdoğan's famous words:

"Look at fate, who is coming together with whom"!..
