No, we are not talking about the famous film "Şark Bülbülü" (Eastern Nightingale) by the late great actor Kemal Sunal and Dinçer Çekmez, but rather the film being directed by the nightingales of Imralı-DEM-PKK/YPG/SDF, which they are trying to force the nation to swallow.
Let us start with the Aleppo operation carried out last week by the Damascus army against the SDF, the Syrian branch of the PKK.
Although some pro-government columnists claimed that Turkey was not a part of this process, while the operations were ongoing, many outlets—primarily TRT, Anadolu Agency, NTV, DHA, Sabah Newspaper, along with numerous columnists—wrote almost word-for-word the same things, citing "information received from security sources."
In the statement, which was clearly sent from a single center, not only were the sensitivities taken into account during the operations explained, but the following expressions were also used:
- “Maximum effort has been exerted to prevent civilian casualties. As one leg of these efforts, contact has been established with the SDF side through various channels. SDF General Commander Mazlum Abdi, Co-Chair of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria Department of Foreign Relations Ilham Ahmed, and some other figures have displayed an attitude open to reconciliation... As a result of the YPG's attitude, which prioritizes conflict over reconciliation, the responsibility for all losses lies with Qandil.”
- “The Presidency of the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) has made intense efforts to end the conflicts through reconciliation and dialogue from the very first moment the events began.”
- “All these events are nothing more than a disregard for the safety of the Kurdish people, whom an armed terrorist organization claims to represent for its own interests... The main reason for the conflicts is the YPG's concern to exploit the future and resources of Syria. The YPG's pressure on the SDF also harms the ground for a political reconciliation in Syria.”
- “Despite all these events, the 'Terror-Free Turkey' process, which began under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, continues, and these events will not be able to derail the process.”
Let us translate the expressions in this note from MİT, which represents the "state mind" of the new resolution process, into plain Turkish:
- Mazlum Abdi (Kobani), whom we know as a terrorist leader, was treated as the "SDF general commander," just as Trump did...
- The title "Co-Chair of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria Department of Foreign Relations" was used for Ilham Ahmed, thereby recognizing the so-called administration...
- An perception was created that “SDF, Mazlum Kobani, and Ilham Ahmed are good, while YPG-Qandil are bad”...
- It was said, “Do not worry, the process will not be harmed”...
The good news that the process would not be harmed and that the SDF, Mazlum Kobani, and Ilham Ahmed were "good" also greatly pleased pro-government columnists, and comments were made that "a new opportunity would be offered to the SDF for negotiations" and that "the possibility of reconciliation was not ruled out due to their approach in Aleppo."
Subsequently, AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik was asked about the call that DEM members have been voicing for months: "Negotiate with the SDF, invite Mazlum Kobani and Ilham Ahmed to Turkey." Çelik gave the following response:
“We have stated the way for this. The SDF must comply with the March 10 Memorandum, cleanse itself of the terrorist elements within it, and act as a part of Syrian society. Afterwards, they can operate on the ground of legitimate Syrian politics as a political party, and within that framework, they can also visit Turkey.”
How "good" the administrators of the Syrian PKK are; let us look at their statements after the operation.
The so-called Rojava autonomous administration announced that they withdrew from Aleppo by "accepting the international proposal"... Mazlum Kobani said that they "reached an agreement through the mediation of international parties"... Ilham Ahmed said, "We are against war, but we are also ready to defend ourselves."
DID THAT MİT NOTE NOT GO TO THE MHP?
According to Nuray Babacan from Nefes, who keeps a very close pulse on AKP backrooms, intelligence information suggesting that "Mazlum Abdi was unaware of the 'Aleppo uprising'" and that "it took place independently of the SDF leadership" was also conveyed to members of the People's Alliance (Cumhur İttifakı), and as a result, the view emerged that "Abdullah Öcalan should be more actively involved, and the truth should be brought to light"!..
If that MİT note also went to the members of the People's Alliance, why did MHP Leader Devlet Bahçeli, the architect of the resolution process, tear Mazlum Kobani to shreds in last Tuesday's group meeting, equating the SDF with the YPG? Let us recall what he said:
“The SDF/YPG has made mistake after mistake... In particular, the terrorist named Mazlum Abdi is a supporter of Zionism, a puppet of Israel, and is disrespectful and disloyal to the founding leadership of the PKK.” he said.
He reacted as follows to the demand for the SDF/YPG to be invited to Ankara:
“This is either a rushed statement or a mental blackout that cannot grasp the issue and ignores the facts. How will there be bargaining with a terrorist organization under the control of Israel? How will the Republic of Turkey approve such a humiliation? The interlocutor is clear; it is none other than the founding leader of the PKK... The interlocutor of the SDF/YPG is the State of the Syrian Republic; finally, even if the time for the March 10 Memorandum has expired, the integration process, which is also the call of Imralı, must be completed through mutual reconciliation, constructive dialogue, and negotiations.”
Mazlum Kobani is an Israeli puppet, but the terrorist leader in Imralı is supposedly "national and local"... Leaving aside contradictions such as wanting to follow Imralı's call while saying "The interlocutor of the SDF/YPG is the State of the Syrian Republic"; since the MHP's newspaper editorial also stated, "Those threats must be made to eat by Mazlum Abdi"; what was the reason for the rift between the two "state minds," especially regarding the SDF and Mazlum Kobani?
Thankfully, Nuray Babacan also gave the answer to this from the mouths of AKP members; "No one sees this as a change of attitude in the MHP. The language used by the MHP leadership and the state is a kind of negotiation. It is showing its red lines to the other side from its own perspective.”
WHAT WILL THE TERRORIST LEADER IN IMRALI SAY?
The Aleppo operation and the subsequent delusions of the KCK and DEM members are well known; they targeted Hakan Fidan and Yaşar Güler.
While DEM co-chair Tuncer Bakırhan was speaking about Fidan and Güler using KCK rhetoric, he said that the call of the terrorist leader in Imralı did not cover the SDF, that the statement made from Imralı did not concern all Kurds in the world, that the SDF was Syria's issue, and that the Syrian state should decide on it. In the meantime, he admitted that the terrorists who were claimed to have laid down their arms had returned to their camps.
Bakırhan also requested that all of this be asked to the terrorist leader by going to Imralı.
Well, why did they never object to Bahçeli, who has been saying for 1 year that "The call of the founding leader covers all components of the PKK"?..
True, there is no SDF or anything in the terrorist leader's February 27 call. Despite Bahçeli's persistent demands, he did not make a call to the SDF, and just because of this, he did not say anything to the deputies sent to him, or whatever he said could not be explained. However, wasn't it Tuncer Bakırhan himself who emphasized that "the developments in Syria concern not only the peoples of Syria but also Turkey and the entire region" and spoke of a struggle extending from Saladin Ayyubi to the terrorist leader?..
Likewise, didn't the terrorist leader say in the perspective he wrote for the PKK's so-called dissolution congress in May; "Similar processes will be activated in Iraq, Iran, and Syria"?..
If the terrorist leader's statement did not concern all Kurds in the world; where will we place the claim of PKK ringleaders Duran Kalkan and Helin Ümit that "Öcalan is the representative of 60 million Kurds"?..
To get to the point;
While it was reported that Tom Barrack, the regional governor of the USA, which is intensifying its "diplomatic contact" with the parties in Syria, will meet with the terrorist leader Mazlum Kobani in the Erbil of the Barzanis tomorrow, another surprise development occurred.
During and after the Aleppo operation process, an Imralı visa was issued yesterday to DEM, which entered into the "intention of whitewashing and backing the SDF/YPG" and used "problematic language," in Bahçeli's words.
Our question is this: if the terrorist leader says, "Bring me Mazlum!.." during this visit, what will happen?!
