Come on, disclose that Imralı letter!..

Don't leave your news choices to an algorithm - decide for yourself what you read. Add 12punto to your preferred sources!

The "spiritual son" of the terrorist leader in Imralı, the so-called general of US President Trump, the head of the Syrian PKK Mazlum Kobani, the so-called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) affiliated with him, the so-called Rojava autonomous administration, and even the armed YPG insistently demand "autonomy and decentralized governance." They also refuse to hand over the weapons provided by the US.

Meanwhile, our government's media, while clinging to the claim that these actors are "committed to the integrity of Syrian territory," ignores the conditions they have set and explains that, according to the agreement reached on March 10 between the new Syrian head of state, HTS leader Jolani, and Mazlum Kobani, "civil and military institutions in northeastern Syria will be integrated into the Syrian state administration."

They even cite Trump's new Greater Middle East Project (BOP) trustee, US Ambassador Tom Barrack—who said, "One nation, one people, one army, one Syria. We do not owe a state to the YPG"—as a guarantor!..

Barrack set the condition for Jolani to "protect the SDF," responded to the question "Will you collect the weapons from the SDF and dissolve the organization?" by saying, "That's above my pay grade, ask Trump," and the Pentagon has allocated 130 million dollars to the SDF for the coming year—what does it matter!.. As long as the Turkish nation does not know the truth and is kept occupied with the PKK's "barbecue parties."

Yet, even the Syrian administration admits that no progress has been made so far on the agreement signed on March 10.

THEY HAD SAID "YPG SURRENDERED TO DAMASCUS"

As is known, Mazlum Kobani was taken to Damascus by a US helicopter on March 10. An 8-point agreement was signed by Jolani and Mazlum Kobani under the US-France partnership.

Let us recall the atmosphere in the government and its media during the first days of the Jolani administration before that agreement.

The media wrote that the Turkey-backed Syrian National Army would save Syria from the PKK, that orders were awaited for the operation, and that a 25,000-strong army was surrounding the PKK/YPG...

Ministry of National Defense sources stated, "We believe that the new administration in Syria and its army, the SNA, will, together with the Syrian people, liberate the regions occupied by the terrorist organization PKK/YPG."

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, on the other hand, said, "There is now a new administration in Damascus. The YPG/PKK issue is primarily their problem. If they handle this matter properly, there will be no reason for us to intervene." When asked whether an autonomous region in northern Syria would pose a threat to Turkey, he replied:

"I don't think it would be right for me to speak on behalf of the Syrian people; because this is a matter for the Syrians to decide. However, regarding Turkish policy, I can say this: We want Kurdish, Arab, and Turkmen civilians to live in their own places, that is, in their homeland. These people should not be disturbed, and they should not be forcibly displaced."

Thus, the March 10 agreement was reached, and everyone breathed a sigh of relief. The headlines our media ran after the agreement were as follows:

"Critical signature in Syria. Jolani and Mazlum Abdi shook hands and agreed to lay down arms. Liquidation in suits... 8-point Damascus agreement on the path to integration... SDF entered the Syrian administration... Terrorist organization YPG and SDF joined the Syrian army... YPG surrendered... YPG/SDF surrendered to Damascus... PYD/YPG laid down arms... Towards a single color on the map. Syria is reuniting... The winner of the consensus will be Syria... Turkey's diplomacy traffic and operation preparations forced the YPG to agree... Hopes are over, it dissolved itself... The strings are in Ankara's hands... The US and Israel's terror state dream has become a lie. The SDF's compliance with Imralı's call and agreement with the Syrian administration showed Turkey's power to the whole world..."

Let us also quote the expressions in the editorial of Türkgün, the newspaper of the MHP, the architect of the new opening: "No troublemaker can sabotage this process... Finally, the YPG, an offshoot of the terrorist organization PKK in Syria, signed an agreement stating that it would be subject to Syria's new administration. With this agreement, the Syrian map turned green and a single roof was formed." it was said.

In that festive atmosphere, only the Cumhuriyet newspaper made the assessment of an "open-ended agreement."

We, for our part, said: "It is so obvious that they are stalling!.. Commissions will be established, they will meet, and they will try to implement the agreement by the end of the year, etc. In other words, the PKK/YPG/PYD, disguised as the SDF, has gained at least 9 more months." and then commented, "Or it is a roadmap to stall Turkey."

BAHÇELİ'S ANGER: "FILTH"

The point reached is clear.

So much so that even the architect of the opening, MHP Leader Devlet Bahçeli, could not help himself and praised the "terror-free Turkey" plan again a few days ago, and then said the following:

"The fact that the YPG/PYD, disguised as the SDF in Syria, still does not comply with the March 10, 2025, consensus and continues its contacts and activities that threaten the security of both the Damascus administration and our country without interruption is a historical mistake. And this mistake must be corrected immediately, and the March 10 consensus must be strictly adhered to. The US administration, shaken by successive scandals, must abandon its 'run rabbit, catch hound' policy, end the Israeli advocacy it conducts under the table, and honestly support the liquidation of the YPG/PYD. While approaching the target of a terror-free Turkey step by step, the YPG/PYD's dragging its feet and seeking to sabotage developments is an unacceptable filth."

Bahçeli, who also argued that the call made on February 27 by the "founding leader of the PKK," i.e., the terrorist leader in Imralı, is binding and valid for all components and structures of the organization, said, "The main call that should be taken into account for the MHP is the Imralı call."

In contrast, what was the attitude of the DEM members, whom Bahçeli welcomed at the doors and sat at the table with, and to whom he expressed his gratitude at every opportunity, and those in the guise of the SDF?

DEM co-chair Tuncer Bakırhan declared, "What does it matter if a Syria where Druze are not happy and are constantly faced with the threat of massacre is a state or not? What does it matter if a Syria where Kurds do not live with their own identities is surrounded by walls meters high? The regimes in this region have never been able to grasp these issues."

Ilham Ahmed, the co-chair of foreign relations of the so-called Rojava autonomous administration, emphasized that they understood the integration included in the March 10 agreement not as "surrender" but as "mutual recognition," that laying down arms was not on their agenda under current conditions, that this would mean "suicide," and that they advocated for a "decentralized Syrian model."

Most importantly, there were the answers Ilham Ahmed gave to the questions, "Have you had a meeting with Abdullah Öcalan?", "Öcalan asked the PKK to lay down arms. Did he ask you to lay down arms too?"

Regarding the meeting with the terrorist leader, Ahmed, who said, "It may have happened, it may not have happened," explained the following:

"I mean, we are receiving information. Let's call it direct or indirect information. An opportunity and possibility have arisen for leader Öcalan to step in at such a sensitive time and show such a brave and great initiative. I think this initiative is not only for the Kurds but for the entire Middle East... But we can say that this initiative he developed has also produced very important results for Rojava, for Northern and Eastern Syria. In this context, it is essential for the general solution project both in Northern Kurdistan and for all four parts of Kurdistan... Laying down arms is not on our agenda, it is definitely not on our agenda. The situation in Syria is managed so brutally that people are being slaughtered, massacres and genocides are being committed before everyone's eyes, before the world's eyes. In this case, asking the SDF to lay down arms is like saying, 'Go die.' That is why it is very dangerous."

IF BAHÇELİ IS TAKING THE TERRORIST LEADER'S CALL AS A BASIS

This attitude of the SDF/YPG/PYD can be interpreted as "It has leaned its back on the US-Israel, it is challenging Öcalan."

In that case, let us recall the statement made by his brother Mehmet Öcalan, who visited the terrorist leader in the middle of the month.

Mehmet Öcalan claimed that his brother said, "We have done our part, there is nothing left for us to do. Kurds in Rojava can never lay down arms... If necessary, the SDF can declare a Syrian democratic republic in Tabqa... Ahmet Shara is the head of ISIS, it is not clear what he will do tomorrow."

Interestingly, the DEM Imralı delegation hastily denied this and requested that "no credit be given to documents and information that have been distorted, subjected to speculative and baseless interpretations, other than those presented and explained by the delegation."

Fine, let us not give credit to the words of either the SDF members or Mehmet Öcalan.

But there was also a letter that the terrorist leader sent to Mazlum Kobani during the February 27 call process, which Bahçeli takes as a basis. Salih Müslim, the former co-chair of the PYD, whom Ankara welcomed by laying out red carpets during the first opening process, stated while evaluating the March 10 agreement that the agreement was consistent with that letter and said, "there is nothing in the letter about any disarmament or stepping back from self-defense."

Presumably, this letter went with the knowledge of the state and is in the hands of our officials. Let it be disclosed so that we can all learn what instructions the terrorist leader gave to Mazlum Kobani and who the ones "committing filth" are, and find peace!..
