It has been 58 days since the fairy tales were told that the terrorist leader had decided to dissolve the PKK "unconditionally and without bargaining."
However, there was a condition as solid as a rock: "Laying down arms and the dissolution of the PKK requires the recognition of democratic politics and the legal dimension." To lull the nation to sleep, they called this "requirements," and two days ago, they sat at the table with Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç for the sake of those requirements.
For now, they only asked for this much: that İmralı be turned into the terrorist leader's deeded property, his villa, "immediately, without ifs or buts"!..
If you ask, "Where did this come from?" just look: apparently, "various delegations, members of parliament, political parties, intellectuals, opinion leaders, writers, journalists, Cengiz Çandars, Hasan Cemals" should be able to go and meet with him... Likewise, the terrorist leader's needs such as a telephone, internet, and computer should be met so that he can establish regular communication with many segments, especially the organization...
Such a large number of guests and communication would also require secretaries, servants, cooks, and drivers, wouldn't it? They must have forgotten!..
Fortunately, it was announced as good news that the "right to hope," meaning the "liberation" of the terrorist leader, was not brought up in the meeting. While an İmralı kingdom is being declared with these demands, what is the need for the "right to hope"!..
Again, for now, they had a small request for the PKK members in prison; they asked for changes in the Anti-Terror and Execution laws, meaning the "liberation" of a certain number of PKK members.
These are the modest (!) demands... The goal, as DEM co-chair Tuncer Bakırhan said once again yesterday, is "while the monist regimes in the Middle East are collapsing one by one... for Turkey to also leave behind its 100-year-old monist policy and attain a more democratic and libertarian constitution"; in other words, the elimination of the Turkish Nation!..
Look at the mentality they sat at the table with; on the very day they asked for these things from Minister of Justice Tunç, they also slapped the slander of "Armenian genocide" on the forehead of the Turkish Nation.
The US-France Project Won
Let us summarize the developments accelerating on the Barzanistan-Syria line, which are steps toward turning İmralı into a full-fledged headquarters.
While we were celebrating April 23, the head of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), i.e., the Syrian PKK, whom Turkey is still searching for with a red notice, and Öcalan's "spiritual son" Mazlum Kobani, went to Erbil and met with both French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot and Nechirvan Barzani.
What did they discuss? With the French Minister, "the active participation of Kurds and all components in Syria in the political process," and with Nechirvan Barzani, "strengthening Kurdish national unity, the position of the Kurdish people in Syria, and the relations between the SDF and the new administration in Syria."
The French Minister also met with Nechirvan Barzani, Masrour Barzani, and Masoud Barzani, and did not neglect Bafel Talabani, the head of the PUK, whom Turkey has sanctioned. His most important meeting was with Masoud Barzani; their agenda included "efforts for unity among Syrian Kurds and the peace process in Turkey." The French Minister "appreciated President Barzani's contribution to this process and his role in bringing the parties together." Masoud Barzani also sent the message, "The Kurdistan Region is always ready to support any initiative that will contribute to the peace process in Turkey."

What a coincidence; one day after these meetings, a delegation consisting of the DEM and the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) from Turkey was in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah. They discussed the terrorist leader's "call for peace and a democratic society" with their interlocutors and drew attention to "the role of political parties in the Kurdistan region in the resolution of the Kurdish issue and the peace process."
From there, they crossed into "northern and eastern Syria," i.e., "Kobani-stan," met with Mazlum Kobani, and exchanged views on "political developments and peace negotiations in Syria and Turkey."
What is Happening in Qamishli?
Let us move on to the event held today in Qamishli, which the pro-government media calls the "Kurdish unity meeting in Syria," after those meetings.
Making a statement before the "National Conference on Kurdish Unity and Stance in Rojava," organized in Qamishli by the PKK/YPG/PYD under Mazlum Kobani's control and the Syrian Kurdish National Council (ENKS) affiliated with the Barzanis, ENKS Presidential Council member Fesla Yusuf said that joint decisions would be discussed at the conference and a joint delegation would be established to conduct negotiations with Damascus. She also thanked "France and the US for their support for unity efforts" and emphasized that they wanted US and French representatives to attend the meeting, stating that "their participation would be an important message for them, Damascus, and neighboring countries."
Let us look at those participating in the meeting in question; although it is called a "Kurdish national conference," it was reported that in addition to "Kobani-stan and Barzanistan," more than 400 people from Turkey would attend, and a message would also be sent from "Rojhilat," meaning Iran, meaning "eastern Kurdistan."
In short; all parties of the "greater Kurdistan" have met there under the screenwriting of the US and France!..

Ilham Ahmed, the co-chair of foreign affairs of the so-called "Rojava autonomous administration," who was present at Mazlum Kobani's meeting with the French Foreign Minister and the Barzanis, declared:
"Today is a historic day... Our people expect political parties to adopt a common stance not only in Rojava but also in other parts. After a long struggle, Rojava has reached the point of determining its own destiny... Led by President Masoud Barzani, Mr. Abdullah Öcalan in İmralı Prison, and other Kurdistan organizations, the DEM Party, the PUK, and Kak Bafil (Talabani), all Kurdish organizations support the protection and development of Rojava's gains."
Mazlum Kobani, who gave the opening speech of the conference, said, "We gave more than 13 thousand martyrs and thousands of wounded in the war to defend our region. We dedicate this conference to our martyrs." He explained that they wanted a "non-centralized, democratic, and inclusive Syria," that they would "do their best for the success of the call coming from İmralı," and thanked "Masoud Barzani and the KCK for their efforts" for the conference.
Masoud Barzani also sent the following message:
"This conference is an important and historic step in the efforts to build unity and determine a common view for the resolution of the Kurdish issue in Syria... We support the establishment of a free, democratic, multi-colored, and equal Syria where the rights of all Syrian peoples and components are protected and guaranteed, and where no traces of tyranny remain... On this basis, forming a joint Kurdish delegation for dialogue with the new administration in Damascus is a necessary step and a real responsibility to build the country's future and ensure our people's rights in political decision-making processes."
Bahçeli Had Called It a "Time Bomb"
Let MHP Leader Devlet Bahçeli, who initiated the Öcalan opening, explain the meaning and importance of the "Kurdish national conference" held in Qamishli and the decisions taken there.
In 2012, when a civil war was incited in Syria and Barzani got involved, he had summarized it as follows;
- "Peshmerga chief Barzani is a friend and brother to both of them [Erdoğan and BDP]... The fact that Peshmerga chief Barzani is organizing a meeting by bringing Syrian Kurds together and calling for unity indicates that the time bomb right next to us will explode at any moment."
- "Open partisanship in the internal conflict in Syria has destroyed our national interests and paved the way for the awakening of a century-old Sèvres dream... Developments show that the AKP has actually been persuaded regarding the controlled construction of Kurdistan."
- "Dreamers in northern Syria are even making a confederation proposal to Turkey through the media. This is exactly what the policy of growing by dividing is. First autonomy, then federation, in the following time confederation, and finally, in a not-so-distant time interval, the ribbon of Kurdistan will most likely be cut by the followers of the Greater Middle East Project (BOP)."
- "This is a century-old trap plotted in the political laboratories of the west and insidiously projected. The Turkish nation is about to be trapped in this direction."
This is exactly what the Qamishli junction is!..
Did We Have the "Key to Syria" or What?
According to Trump, the key to Syria is in Turkey; if anyone thinks that our "man" Ahmet Shara will not allow the second Kurdish autonomous region after Iraq to be established here;
The man is penniless, he is not in a position to pay salaries, he is begging the US to lift sanctions. For this sake, he is willing to normalize relations with Israel, and even sign the Abraham Accords.
So it seems that in Syria, too, what the one who pays the money says and wants will happen!..
As for who in Ankara cares and how much; that is another matter.
