Should we not even worry about the 'genocide' slander?!

One day after the separatist terrorist organization PKK's show of burning 100 Kalashnikovs in a cauldron, Erdoğan, referring to the "Turkey without terrorism" process, announced that "the AK Party, MHP, and DEM Party have decided to walk this path together." Emphasizing that the project is "not the result of a negotiation, bargaining, or give-and-take process," Erdoğan added, "The issue is not just that of our Kurdish citizens, but the issue of my Kurdish brothers in Iraq and Syria is also our issue."

What kind of "path" is the AKP, MHP, and DEM walking together? Let us explain through three events from the last week.

Friday was the 111th anniversary of the Armenian genocide slander.

Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan, whom Ankara holds in high regard under the assumption that his "feet are on the ground," commemorated the so-called genocide slander again this year and laid flowers at the "genocide monument" together with the President and the Speaker of Parliament.

Trump, to whom Ankara cannot even say "you have an eyebrow above your eye," used the phrase "great catastrophe" instead of "genocide," and unlike his message last year, did not make a reference to the Ottoman Empire. Perhaps it is because the colonial governor he sent to our country, Tom Barrack, praised and proposed the "Ottoman millet system"!..

Another important friend of Ankara, Putin, openly said "genocide" and called on the international community to join forces to prevent such "barbarities" from happening.

Ultimately, in the words of a liberal writer; April 24 was once again "gotten over without problems or diplomatic crises. Turkey did not recall its Ambassador from any country that organized commemorations or labeled the tragedy of 1915 as genocide, did not make any threats, and did not even feel the need to respond officially."

However, when New York Mayor Mamdani, who stands out with his Muslim identity and opposition to Israel, said, "The Ottoman Empire massacred 1.5 million Armenians. Azerbaijan also continued its genocide campaign by expelling 100,000 Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh in 2023," he disrupted all the "peace."

While our Ministry of Foreign Affairs brushed off the April 24 delusions with a vague, mixed statement, pro-government writers beat their knees in regret, saying, "Mamdani made us regret it," and "The fault is not with Mamdani, but with us for having too many dreams about him"!..

But neither they nor the AKP and MHP saw or heard that the DEM, with whom they are "walking the path," and the Diyarbakır Bar Association and the Human Rights Association, which are close to DEM, not only embraced the Armenian genocide slander but also claimed that genocide was committed against the Syriac-Assyrians and Greeks, and demanded "recognition, an apology, and compensation" from Turkey!..

Did the DEM members go to Anıtkabir?

Thursday was also the 106th anniversary of the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day.

While the fact that colonial governor Tom Barrack celebrated the day without including Atatürk and the Turkish Flag drew reactions, no one looked at what their solution-process partner, DEM, did.

While they made a clear statement for April 24, they did not publish any message for April 23...

At the ceremony where Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş laid a wreath at the Atatürk Monument, DEM Deputy Speaker of Parliament Pervin Buldan was present, but as far as we could see, no one else attended the ceremony at Anıtkabir.

There is no need to question it at length; DEM co-chair Tuncer Bakırkhan, who spoke at the special session held in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on the occasion of such an important day, once again revealed what they understand by national sovereignty and the republic. After explaining that there were "different peoples, different identities" during the liberation period, but that these were ignored at the founding, and demanding that the "damaged contract be repaired," that "Kurds be included in the law as equal citizens," and that a "democratic republic" be built, he addressed Erdoğan, saying, "Peace is waiting for the seal to be placed on it... You are Solomon, the seal is with you."

"Northern Kurds... The Period of Re-establishment of Kurdish Society"?

As for the last event; yesterday, a conference was organized in Diyarbakır by the Democratic Unity Initiative, led by DEM and the Democratic Regions Party (DBP).

For some reason, our media did not write the name of this conference and brought the message sent by the terrorist leader Öcalan to the forefront.

However, the subject of the conference was as remarkable as the terrorist leader's message.

Because the meeting was organized to discuss the "national unity of Northern Kurds."

Who are the "Northern Kurds"? Our citizens of Kurdish origin in Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia. As is known; there are also "southern, eastern, and western Kurds."

So, what did the terrorist leader command in the message he sent to this conference?

Claiming that Kurdish society could not "transform itself according to the realities of the age" due to the "policies of denial, destruction, and oppression" it has been subjected to for "many years," he called for "political and social institutionalization"...

He stated that while the Kurdish society "defends democratic solution and negotiation in its relations with nation-states," it should also base itself on democratic politics and law within itself...

Emphasizing that one of the most fundamental problems of the Kurdish people is the "problem of unity," he said, "The convening of a comprehensive democratic unity congress... is an urgent task... The coming period is a period of re-establishment for Kurdish society... Every step taken on this basis will determine our common future."

While the AKP-MHP says that "national unity and brotherhood will be ensured through the process of a Turkey without terrorism," it is clear what their "travel companions" DEM and their "founding leader" are after.

In this case, where does that "path" lead?!
