A week after Çiftçi, Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin also spoke about Turkey's global role and explained that Erdoğan is described by many countries as a “peacemaker,” saying, “If Turkey is shown as an example in the struggle for peace in foreign policy all over the world today, it is thanks to our President's resolute stance on these issues and his Muslim stance that centers on human rights. May Allah be pleased with him.”

We are on the sixth day since it was revealed that Israel's hostage and hitman, US President Trump, threatened numerous countries, including Turkey, to sign the Abraham Accords. If we count the days before that, it is the eighth day.

On the night of Saturday, May 23, Trump asked the leaders of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, and Bahrain to sign the Abraham Accords during a phone call. In other words, he said it to the faces of all these leaders.

What did we learn thanks to the US media? That the leader of Pakistan immediately rejected this offer. Subsequently, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar all announced to the public that they would not sign the agreement.

Given that he is the “head of the Islamic Ummah” and his “Muslim stance,” he must have either not deemed the offer serious enough to respond or hung up the phone on Trump, right?!

But one still wonders about the wisdom behind this silence.

Imagine if someone from Turkey said, “We must normalize our relations with Israel, we will not sign the Abraham Accords”; wouldn't the police be at their door in an instant, wouldn't there be a lynching... what wouldn't happen?

Erdoğan performed the Eid prayer at the Great Çamlıca Mosque in Istanbul. Granted, even though Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek made a lengthy assessment on the same day as the ruling, this issue was not asked of Erdoğan because the “absolute nullity” ruling that shook Turkey was considered an “internal issue” of the CHP.

I AM TELLING IRAN, YOU UNDERSTAND TOO

Ankara did not speak on the first day of the holiday, but Trump spoke again that same day after a cabinet meeting, saying that the participation of regional countries in the Abraham Accords should be part of the agreement process with Iran. When he asked Middle East Special Envoy Steve Witkoff about the situation, he received the answer, “We are definitely pushing.”

Trump also sent a message to Iran:

“They thought they would keep me waiting. They thought there were midterm elections. I don't care about the midterm elections.”

Could this also have been a message to Ankara, which seems to be playing for time by remaining silent?!

Let us recall Trump's first post on the subject; he stated that it was “mandatory” for Saudi Arabia and Qatar to sign “immediately” and for Turkey and other countries to follow suit, and issued the threat that “otherwise it would be a disaster.”

Now, the US media is writing and drawing that Trump is pressuring Turkey for the agreement. The famous think tank Atlantic Council is dangling the carrot that if the agreement is signed, the 7 billion dollar loss will be recovered through the trade that will revive between Turkey and Israel!..

WHILE THIS TRUMP INFATUATION EXISTS

Meanwhile, the claim has surfaced that Erdoğan plans to attend the Turkey-USA World Cup match to be played in Los Angeles on June 25, and is trying to arrange a meeting with US President Trump on the occasion of the match.

The agenda of the possible meeting is the NATO Summit to be held in Ankara on July 7-8.

As is known, it is unclear whether Trump will attend the summit, which will be held at great expense while in the midst of such a major economic crisis, and it is alleged that he has set certain conditions for attending.

And Ankara desires his arrival so much and makes it so obvious that it is practically serving the “Abraham Accords first” condition to Trump on a silver platter!..
