What is the 'Paradigm' of the terrorist leader?!

It has been 18 days since the terrorist leader in İmralı called on his organization to “convene your congress and make a decision; all groups must lay down their arms and the PKK must dissolve itself.”

There is no response. Because even though it is claimed that the call was unconditional, the expressions, which seemed to have come from a diplomat's pen, actually contained so many conditions... That is, for those who want to understand!..

We would like to draw attention to the following sentence, which immediately precedes the call for “all groups to lay down their arms and the PKK to dissolve itself” in the statement that is treated almost like a “historical epic”:

“As every contemporary society and party whose existence has not been forcibly ended would do voluntarily, convene your congress and make a decision for integration with the state and society...”

What is the terrorist leader saying?

First; he emphasizes that the PKK will end its existence “voluntarily,” not because it is exhausted and cornered as is being said, by likening it to a “contemporary society and party”...

So, what does the PKK’s “integration with the state and society” mean?!

THE HALFETI MODEL

Let us explain the meaning of this step by step.

One day after MHP Leader Devlet Bahçeli’s call for him to “come and speak in Parliament,” which made everyone’s hair stand on end, the doors of İmralı were opened on October 23 to DEM Şanlıurfa MP Ömer Öcalan, the nephew the terrorist leader had never seen. Sharing a generic message immediately after the 1 hour and 40 minute meeting, Ömer Öcalan later opened up in the following days and provided the following information about the terrorist leader’s “paradigm and project”:

“We stated to Mr. Öcalan that ‘Halfeti Municipality Co-Mayor Mehmet Karayılan is Turkmen, the other Co-Mayor Saniye Bayram is a Kurdish woman, and that work is currently being carried out on the assessments you mentioned.’ It was precisely on these notes that Mr. Öcalan opened up about Halfeti to us. He said, ‘Because the Turkmen people live in Halfeti, Kurds live there. It is seen as an applicable district for our paradigm. This is my project, one must work in Halfeti. We must show the whole world, all of Turkey, how Turkmen and Kurds live together in brotherhood.’ This is the truth. We mentioned Mehmet Karayılan, we said he is Turkmen. Mr. Öcalan was surprised there. We said, ‘He is Turkmen, he is from Harran.’ ‘Your paradigm is being implemented in Halfeti despite its shortcomings.’ Halfeti is the reality of Turkey. The point we are at is the point where the reality of Halfeti is. We stand at this point.”

On January 30, Ömer Öcalan told the Barzani media that the terrorist leader said regarding the Middle East, “If Turkey does not prepare itself for a solution, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and international powers have many plans for the future. There is also a possibility of states being declared in these places.”

The following questions and answers followed:

Question: “So, will the Kurds declare a state?”

Ö.Ö.: “I mean, this was said. He did not say the Kurdish issue, but it is understood by itself... I do not need to explain everything one by one. This could be the beginning of a great war.”

Question: “Does Öcalan have a project for the new era, for a solution?”

Ö.Ö.: “The person who possesses a paradigm, the owner of a great model in this country is Mr. Öcalan. He says this openly, there is nothing secret.”

Question: “Did he share it with you?”

Ö.Ö.: “How will Kurds live with Arabs, how with Persians, how with Turkey? The formula for this was discussed. It was said. He said; ‘If Turkey solves this issue, it will be a model in this country. If this issue is not solved, the Turkish state will retreat to Anatolia and live its hell there. These things were said. So, the things I said have been recorded. Neither more nor less... Mr. Öcalan also said this in his meeting, ‘Those who have energy and potential in the Middle East are the Kurds. Others have lost their energy, morale, and motivation within this century. Those who can establish a new system in the Middle East are the Kurds, and they can lift up other peoples and other nations along with themselves. This potential exists in the Kurds’.”

As is known, Halfeti is the terrorist leader’s hometown. Before continuing, let us quote some parts of the call made there last Thursday by DEM Co-Chair Tuncer Bakırhan to the government. He said;

“Halfeti is a very important center for our identity, our struggle, our freedom, and for us to live humanely and equally on these lands. Kurds existed in Halfeti, they rose up in Halfeti. Kurds are attaining their identity, dignity, and peace with the struggle started by Mr. Abdullah Öcalan from Halfeti... The 2025 Newroz will also be the start of a year in which Kurds will attain their freedom and receive their rights and justice... Nothing went in vain, no effort was spent in vain. Today, the struggle of those who lost their lives and paid the price in Turkey, the Middle East, and Syria has reached a process where they will attain democratic rights through equal citizenship... Mr. Öcalan made a call... This call is a very important call that will end 100 years of denial policies; and will ensure that Kurds, Alevis, and other peoples and faiths live together equally and in brotherhood... We expect the steps appropriate to this call made by Mr. Öcalan for the bloodshed to stop and for justice to be taken as soon as possible... We address the government that appointed a trustee to the Halfeti Municipality just yesterday: if you are sincere, return our Kurdish and Turkmen municipal co-mayors who represent the will of Halfeti to their duties... First, make the legal arrangements where Kurds and other peoples living in Turkey will live equally and together.”

PKK TO ENTER POLITICAL STRUGGLE

It is crystal clear what the terrorist leader and his men want under the name of a “paradigm or model”; but let us look at their other statements as well.

Mustafa Karasu, one of the terrorist leaders in Qandil, said the following:

“We will realize the transformation put forward by Öcalan, the dissolution of the PKK, and the end of the armed struggle. Let no one have any hesitation about this. Yes, the PKK will dissolve; but this dissolution is not just a dissolution. It will be a democratic transformation. It is entering into a political struggle in a new form. Or rather, with its new approach, it is directing the political struggle and history, it will have an impact on history... Öcalan’s paradigm will change the Middle East and the world.”

THE “PARADIGM” EXPLAINED BY DEMİRTAŞ

AKP member Mehmet Metiner announced that former HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş, who is in Edirne Prison, drew attention to the following distinction “regarding the new paradigm upon which the process is based”:

“This state is our state. We are not making a demand, we are making a promise. Our promise is a demand to grow Turkey together... Let no one think that we see the demand for democratization as a condition or requirement for laying down arms. This is contrary to the new paradigm announced by Öcalan.”

In his column titled “Don’t be afraid! Peace,” which he wrote four days ago, Demirtaş also stated that there were no conditions in the terrorist leader’s call, but “mutual requirements,” and reported that “the new paradigm emerged in the form of ‘The Republic of Turkey is also the state of the Kurds’,” and decreed as follows:

“The state must now cast aside the monist official ideology entirely and open all doors wide to the Kurds; it must respect the language, culture, and identity of the Kurds, and create the ground for integration on the basis of equal citizenship by placing these under constitutional and legal protection. What I understand from the new paradigm, the will that Erdoğan and Bahçeli stand behind, and Özel’s statement ‘I promise a state to the Kurds’ is all this... The new Turkish-Kurdish alliance will take shape and develop on this basis, and this new situation will also positively affect the Kurds of Syria, Iraq, and Iran. From now on, no Kurd will be an opponent, enemy, or threat to the state they are in or to Turkey.”

Let us intervene and note the following:

The Republic of Turkey has been the state of everyone, regardless of their ethnic origin, language, religion, or sect. Even of the Syrians, Afghans, and Somalis...

Demirtaş’s meaning of the “new paradigm” is quite clear; they want the state to be transformed into a Turkish-Kurdish state. And what follows is well known!!

But even CHP Chairman Özgür Özel welcomed that article by Demirtaş, in which the delusions of the terrorist leader and the PKK were actually voiced, with “satisfaction,” thinking that it supported his own “vision of democratization,” can you believe it?!

SEBAHAT TUNCEL NAMED IT

If there is anyone left who still does not understand what the new process is; let us also recall the speech made on February 8 by Sebahat Tuncel, one of the former HDP and DBP co-chairs who has spent years in prison for the crimes of “being a member of an armed terrorist organization and making propaganda for a terrorist organization.” She clearly said the following:

“Kurds will govern themselves. But they will also take their place in the republic. There will be a dual administration. This is a solution project. This is not a project that divides, but one that unites. The real divisive project is the project that rejects the Kurds. It is not a holiday or a special occasion, why did Devlet Bahçeli call on Öcalan? Because there is a Middle East issue. If it is to happen this time, a process will begin after the conditions of Mr. Öcalan are improved. The rights of the Kurds cannot even be a subject of bargaining. Do not look at the state, Erdoğan, and Bahçeli, look at Mr. Öcalan. The hope is there.”

What is the project; it is a dual administration!!
