On April 4, 2021, following debates over Kanal İstanbul and Erdoğan's authority to cancel international agreements, as well as the incident involving arobed/turbanedadmiral in the Turkish Armed Forces, 103 retired admirals issued a statement saying, "Do not let the Montreux Convention be undermined, and do not allow new cult-basedorganizations within the TSK." Upon thisstatement,Erdoğan said, "The CHP is at the center of this. You will see itin the media soon."

That is exactly what happened; a few hours later, the media announced that "4 of the retired admirals who signed the coup declaration turned out to be CHP members" and reported the names and surnames of those admirals' spouses, children, and siblings. It was obvious that a quick andvery strict investigation had been conducted into them!..On November 10, 2023, at the Atatürk Commemoration Ceremony at the Tuzla Infantry School, a lieutenant

was involved in an incident. The details of the event were as follows. We witnessed a similarprocess during theincident involving the lieutenant not wearingan Atatürk photograph. Those who reactedto that lieutenantwere also...lieutenants were not only labeled as “junta members”but were alsolinked to Prof. Ümit Özdağ.Likewise, it was claimed that “those junta-member lieutenants wereterrorist organizations and marginal groups after July 15”how they bypassed the measures taken to prevent infiltration into the TSK (Turkish Armed Forces)” was questioned. Of course, these lieutenants were also thoroughly investigated, but no connections were found.

After the official part of the Military Academy graduation ceremony on August 30, 2024,was completed, the lieutenants crossing their swordsto recite the Officer's Oathand saying “We are the soldiers of Mustafa Kemal” was met with more attention an attractive process wasexperienced. After theceremony footage was spread on social media, some government supporters and the mediaclaimed this was a “FETÖ organization” and that thelieutenants could be“FETÖ” members, suggesting alleged. Not only the lieutenantsbut also their commanders were targeted with similar accusations. However, the Ministry of National Defense launched an investigation exactly 6 days later. Along with this, it was revealed that the MIT stepped in and investigated the lieutenants' entire extended families. Despite this perception operation, was anything found? No!..

As a matter of fact, inthepastdays, the Administrative Court, regarding thedismissal of the then-Acting Regiment Commander Alper Topsakalfrom the TSK (Turkish Armed Forces),the decisionunanimously canceled it.

Despite this, yesterdaythe pro-government mediafocused on CHP Chairman Özgür Özel's remarks at the Çatalca rally: "Anyone who does not bring back the lieutenants dismissedfrom the army and restore theirranks is dishonorable, is a scoundrel."their words, as "coupincitement to rank promise... Özgür Özel presented the lieutenants who created a 'coup' perception and were dismissed from the army by bringing them back to the agendawith the expressions.".

The police also asked "FETÖ" member Announced

The reasonwe are reminding you of these is what happened a week ago to 30-year-old traffic police officerOnur Şener, who gave an anti-openingprocessspeech at a tram stop in Eskişehir.

What Police Officer Şenersaid was as follows:

“By winning the elections saying Öcalan willcome out, today they areracing to call that Öcalanesteemed, and the pathThose who walk [this path] will surely lose. You will stand by the Turkish Nation. Thiscountry was not founded easily. I was born in Kayseri on June 7, 1995. I am from Yozgat. I grew upin the MHP congresses in Kayseri. Damn it. Is there no one else leftfor you to walk with? Every day, people close to the organizationshamelessly and brazenly [test] our nervesand patience.our wounds. Apois going to be released. The East-S outheastis going to become Kurdistan. These arefantasies. You will becrushed under them. Go to the politiciansand tell them.do not trust. This is Turkey, where the Turkish Nation always has the final say. Ever since this process began, I have not been able to sleep.”

After those images were shared on social media, the General Directorate of Securitywithjet speed, the police officer wassuspended from duty and the matter wassubject to an investigationto examine allaspects of thesituation, initiating a reviewinitiated and a Chief PoliceInspectorwasassignedto the case.

Simultaneously, allegations were made that police officer Onur Şener could be a “FETÖ” member.Following this, upon which he also, on his social media accountresponded to theaforementioned allegations with twostatements.

First of all, let us state this; intelligence units, just like they did with retired admirals, lieutenants, and commanders, also linked Onur Şener to “FETÖ” reincluding being in any place, they investigated whether there was anyconnection, and nothingat all came outof it. This investigation, which lastedtwo daysFollowing the investigation, Onur Şener’s statement was taken on December 8.

“I Fulfilled the Requirements of the Constitution and the Police Oath”

According to the information we obtained,6 questions were posed to Şener. The first question was as follows: “Regarding the TBMM’s

...assignedto criticize the activities of the National Unity and Solidarity Commission in amanner and of a political nature, somestatementsyou made/madestatements...”

However, as is known that commission had a legal basiswithout, that is, the Grand National Assembly of Turkey'sInternalRulesin accordance with a manner, and not as a result of a vote in the General Assembly, but entirelyby SpeakerNuman Kurtulmuş's callwas established with its pain.

Regarding the questionsposed to Onur Şener,if we move on to the other questions;in addition to the "speech made in officialuniform, causing the road to be blocked, and addressing the crowd gathered at the tram stop," the questions also included whether he knew the person whobroadcast the footageand the statement he made on his social media account after the incident.statementswere asked. He, in summary, gave these answers:

“When I started my profession, I took an oath to remain loyal to the Constitution, as stated in the police oath. The preamble of the Constitution states that national sovereignty always belongs to the Turkish Nation andthat those who have the authority to exercise national sovereignty on behalf of the nation cannot engage in acts or transactions contrary to the interests of the nation, and that every Turk also derives from the Constitutionthinking that with this authority they weretasked with protecting the state;due to theprocessthathas been experienced in our country for some timeand which has wounded the conscience of our nation, stemming from theI expressed my thoughtsbased on national sentiments. I have no connection or affiliation with any institution, organization, or political association. I did not receive instructions from anyone regarding this incident. I did not make any plans or programs with anyone. It was not a planned action. With the stirring of national sentiments, I expressed my thoughtswithout disrupting public order. I did not receive instructions from anyone regarding this incident. I did not make any plans or programs with anyone. It was not a planned action. With the stirring of national sentiments, I expressed my thoughtswithout disrupting public order. I expressed mythoughts. The images on social media were taken from behindis. This is an indication that I did this on my own and without my knowledge was takenof the indication. Ascan be understood from the details of my speech; without targetinganyone, without insulting, and without harming public order, it consists solely of the expression of my nationalfeelings. I did not engage in any action that would cause traffic to stop. At that moment, the tram had stopped to let passengers on and offforhappened. After the incident, to everyoneon my profile a greatnumber of messages arrived. Social circle and pressand media outletsconstantly calledI. For this reason, I poured my feelings into writingand made those posts to provide a collective response. In these, there is no threat, insult, or targeting of anyone.I do not know who filmed the footageor who shared it. What I did was definitely not a pressstatement.

Finally, in his statement, Onur Şener said the following:said:

“I love my country, my flag. The sentences Iuttered thatday weredirected at the PKK terrororganization, which has massacred 50 thousand of our innocent citizensin our country, and the terrorist leaderagainst Abdullah are my criticismsagainst Öcalan. I have no other intention. I am uncomfortable with the withdrawal intoa political platform.”

What Strange Contradictions

Because he opposed the opening, he was investigated with jet-speed and The statement of thepolice officer taken into custody is as follows. Now let us look at some strikingcontradictions.

The day before yesterday, for support for Onur Şener,in his hometown of Yozgat BoIn Boğazlıyan, when the police did not allow themarch that was intended to be organized, only a press statement could be made. His father, Sezai Şener, stated that his sonneversaid a word that would upset anyone, and that he simplybecame the voice of those who say“I am a Turk.”stating that, and emphasized the following:

“‘He engaged in politicsin uniform,’ they say. Mosque imams have also been engaging in politics for 5 years. Therefore, there is no such thing as 'he is a civil servant, he cannot speak.'Civil servants speak, and soldiers will speak too.”

Let's go back to October 18. The AKP-MHPodecided to walk together during theopening processwith the DEM, the predecessorofwhich held a“Freedom forÖcalan” march in Diyarbakırwas organized. With fireworksthey marched for 2 kilometersand chanting slogans of “PKK is the people, the people are here,” the group was stopped when they attempted to hang a poster of the terrorist leaderon the fortress. Meanwhile, the demonstrators made announcements over a megaphoneIn the announcements made, the policewere referred to as the"enemy."

Some figures from the government responded to these events the nextday, whileInteriorMinister Ali Yerlikaya only responded after tworeacted days later. Yerlikaya first explained the meaning andimportance of the opening and then said,“No one; those who serve selflessly day and night, for the indivisible integrity of our homelandcanaccusethem.”for the peace and security ofwhich theyrisk theirlives, our devoted police officers, the accusation of calling them 'enemy' wasbroughtup tocannot produce. We will not allow this. I condemn this rhetoric,” he said. But to the police, “enemy” calling allegations concerning those who produce; what kind of procedure was followed; we do not know!..

Another incident; on November 30, the DEM and some other political parties in Sancaktepe “For our breadorganizeda 'meeting' demonstration. Here, too, slogans of "biji serok Apo" (long live leader Apo)were chanted. In response to the police warning, "The slogans you are chanting are illegal. End these illegal slogans immediately," DEM Party member Sezai Temelli reacted by saying, "You cannot decide that those slogans are illegal. The people decide that."No one reacted to Temelli.I.

The latest example is the showput on in Cizre on November 29 with Barzani's peshmerga. Theimages were discussedfor days. However, the Ministry ofInteriorFour days later, on December 2,it was announced that an investigation had been launched and two inspectors wereassignedto thematter.

Ten days have passed. While the investigation process regarding police officer OnurŞener was handled in two or three days, by the way, what happened to the Barzani investigation?!
