Following MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli's invitation to the terrorist leader in İmralı to address Parliament, the term "state wisdom" has taken center stage.
The goal, it is claimed, is not a "new opening," but rather to completely remove terrorism from our agenda and fortify the "internal front." Because US-Israeli aggression has surrounded our region!..
To elaborate further; it is said that this is a preemptive move against the danger of a "satellite" structure or a second Israel being established in the region via the PYD/YPG should Israel target Syria.
And so, Erdoğan and Bahçeli are willing to drink "hemlock poison" not for the sake of a few votes, but to prevent this!..
Yet, even children understand that the PKK will not lay down its arms at the call of the terrorist leader, and that the DEM Party can never act against the wishes of Qandil; because they have dozens of masters, from the US to Israel, from France to Germany, from NATO to Iran.
If that "state wisdom" still does not understand that the project we are facing is not a "Kurdish issue"-disguised separatism, but the Treaty of Sèvres itself, then woe to us!..
As is known, after Bahçeli's opening, terrorists traveled all the way from Qandil or Syria to Kazan to attack TUSAŞ.
Following the attack, former MIT head and current Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan—whom the London-based Middle East Eye described as someone who "sees himself not just as a servant of the state, but as its guardian"—stated that they would "continue the struggle against all terrorist elements and the powers that feed them, both inside and outside the country, with determination."
National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler said, "We are giving them the punishment they deserve, but they never seem to learn. We will not stop chasing them until the last terrorist is eliminated."
Bahçeli, who signed off on the Öcalan-centered opening, also declared that "those who use terrorism as a dark apparatus by deploying hired killers to the field will not achieve results."
Some MHP officials explained that "Bahçeli's historic call has alarmed imperialism and upset its chemistry," "refuted the grand conspiracy of the US and Israel targeting Turkey," "that the liquidation of the terrorist organization will be realized through our state's resolute stance," and "that the scourge of terrorism will be buried in history."
TERRORISTS DO NOT LEARN BECAUSE
Who are the "powers that feed terrorism and deploy hired killers to the field" both inside and outside the country?.. Why do the "terrorists, even though we give them the punishment they deserve," "never seem to learn"?..
As those who govern the country state; it is because behind them are the US, Israel—which is accelerating its expansionism in the region with US encouragement—and other powers.
Since the knife has reached the bone, shouldn't Ankara's move be to address these patrons, not the terrorist leader, and challenge them?
BUT WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THE TUSAŞ ATTACK?
Foreign Minister Fidan met with his US counterpart Blinken to evaluate the latest developments in Gaza and Lebanon. He requested that all parties act with restraint to prevent the war from spreading across the region. He also discussed Ukraine.
It is claimed that our survival is being endangered by being surrounded from the south by a terrorist organization... TUSAŞ was attacked... Was the PKK/YPG put on the table?.. No!..
On October 29, National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler met with his US counterpart Lloyd Austin. The Ministry of National Defense stated that "an exchange of views took place on bilateral and regional defense and security issues."
SO WHAT IS THE STATEMENT FROM THE US SIDE?
Secretary Austin conveyed his condolences for the TUSAŞ attack and said he "acknowledges Turkey's legitimate security concerns." Turkey's recent operations in Syria were also discussed. Austin emphasized the need to prevent any civilian harm and reaffirmed the importance of "close coordination" between the two countries to prevent any risk to US forces within the scope of the mission to combat ISIS!..
Let us also convey the answer given by Pentagon Spokesperson Brigadier General Patrick Ryder to a question regarding the meeting. He repeated that the US views the PKK as a terrorist organization and said, "We have good coordination, good communication with our Turkish allies, and we will continue to do so."
Note carefully, there is no mention of YPG/PYD in the meeting between these two ministers, and there is still talk of "good coordination and communication."
In that case, we will be waiting a long time for the roots of the terrorist organization to be eradicated!..
According to what Hande Fırat reported, the operationalization of the mechanism established between the two countries has been left until after the US presidential elections... Some time ago, when the elections in the Syrian "terroristan" came to the agenda, Ankara said, "You left the PKK/PYD/YPG to CENTCOM, and they are misleading you. They are moving toward statehood step by step." The US administration gave the message, "We are against statehood."
Good heavens, so it must have been aliens who declared that place the "autonomous administration of north and east Syria"!..
When that same America invaded Iraq, it also gave its word: "No Kurdish state"... What happened?.. Now "southern Kurdistan" is Ankara's closest ally!..
Just look at how happy the Barzanis were about "the start of a new peace process in Turkey" following the statements of Erdoğan and Bahçeli.
WHO FOUNDED THE YPG/PYD?
According to what is being told, the closest threat to our south is the YPG/PYD structure, which is why a solution involving Öcalan and the DEM Party is being sought. In that case, shouldn't the following also be recalled?
Well, while Syria was being torn apart with US hands and Turkish support, wasn't it Ankara that invited the PYD to take our side against Assad, welcomed PYD leader Salih Muslim with a red carpet, and even evacuated the Tomb of Suleyman Shah together with them?
Anything else?
Didn't the terrorist leader in İmralı, right under the state's nose in 2011, send a letter to the PKK regarding Syria saying, "Let the Kurds form a self-defense force. Let them establish an army of 50 thousand people"?.. Didn't he suggest that the cover for the PYD/YPG be the "Syrian Democratic Forces"?.. Didn't he issue a call for "mobilization for the Kurdish people and youth" and give instructions to go and help in northern Syria?.. Didn't he appoint Salih Muslim as the head of the PYD and his "spiritual son" Mazlum Kobani as the head of the YPG?..
And didn't the "state officials" who conducted the negotiations with İmralı themselves say, "Öcalan is managing the organization from İmralı, we are allowing this, and his pictures are hanging in houses in Syria"?..
What kind of "state wisdom" is this that hopes for help from a terrorist leader to eliminate the danger in Syria?!
AND WHAT ABOUT THE "RIGHT TO HOPE"?
MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli, while making the proposal for the terrorist leader to come to Parliament and call on the PKK, also said this:
"Let him shout that terrorism has completely ended and the organization has been abolished. If he shows this fortitude and determination, the path to making a legal arrangement regarding the use of the 'Right to Hope' and benefiting from it should be opened wide."
Setting aside everything we have written so far; isn't this "right to hope," in Bahçeli's own words, the decision and demand of the European Court of Human Rights—which Bahçeli says "does not see the PKK as a terrorist organization" and for whose certain decisions he says, "We do not recognize it, we do not care, we shout that it is void in the national conscience"?!
