You should shut down Kürecik before entering Israel!

As if we didn't have enough problems, a very strange Mahmud Abbas “crisis” emerged—or was manufactured—four days ago.

In response to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu being allowed to speak in the US Senate, our officials planned to have Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas speak in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) on the same day. To this end, Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş sent a letter to Abbas on July 12, asking him to “announce the struggle for rights and justice of the Palestinian people to the whole world” from the parliamentary podium.

Erdoğan, who is called a “world leader,” spoke about Palestine at the UN General Assembly, and what happened? If Abbas had come and spoken from the parliamentary podium, as if the entire world's leaders or media would have been locked onto the TBMM!..

Anyway; while we were unaware of both the invitation to Abbas and what was happening behind the scenes, following calls from some opposition parties for the “Palestinian President to be allowed to speak in parliament,” Erdoğan exposed the Abbas crisis while visiting his hometown:

“Who says we didn't invite him? Mr. Abbas, who did not come even though we invited him, should excuse himself; he first needs to apologize to us. We invited him, but he didn't come. We are waiting, let's see if he will be able to come.”

A day later, at the AKP Rize Provincial Organization Meeting, he targeted Doğan Bekin, the Deputy Chairman and Istanbul MP of the New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi), who had made the same call days earlier, with the following expressions:

“One of them came out, excuse me, a rude person, saying Mahmud Abbas should be allowed to speak in our parliament. Who is this? There is one guy from New Welfare, and I think he has some mental issues. Who told you we didn't invite Mahmud Abbas? We invited him, but unfortunately, Mahmud Abbas could not give us a positive response. We will manage the subsequent process accordingly. While we are taking all these steps, unfortunately, we are being shot from within.”

That Man Was Sick Too!..

The man called Mahmud Abbas has slighted and humiliated the great Republic of Turkey; the reaction shown is, “He first needs to apologize to us.”...

The reaction to those who say, “Let Abbas speak in Parliament”; “rude, has mental issues, we are being shot from within”...

The meaning and importance of the Rize-based diplomatic scandal must have been realized, as AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik, after explaining how the Abbas invitation was managed by himself and Erdoğan weeks ago, noted the following:

“Mr. Abbas stated that he could not come, citing health problems. Now, according to new information, he said that he would visit Turkey at another time and wants to make this speech.”

If it happened exactly like this; was Erdoğan not told that Abbas had reported he could not come due to health problems, so that he made those statements in Rize for two days in a row?!

It seems that due to a “lack of communication” within the state, the quilt was burned for the sake of a flea, and a “crisis” was created for no reason!..

It Was Not Posted on the Palace's Website

Erdoğan's conduct of foreign policy from Rize was not limited to the Mahmud Abbas crisis; on top of that, he challenged Israel as follows:

“Just as we entered Karabakh, just as we entered Libya, we might do the same to them. There is nothing to prevent us from doing so. We just need to be strong so that we can take these steps. If we are saying all these things against Israel today, if we have cut off all trade with them, if we have cut off our relations...”

After pointing out that all of Erdoğan's activities in Rize were posted on the Palace's website, but the AKP Rize Provincial Organization Meeting where these words were uttered was skipped, let's look at the reflections of those words.

The fastest support for Erdoğan came from his partner, MHP Leader Devlet Bahçeli, who, in the second week of Israel's attack on Gaza—that is, 10 months ago—gave a 24-hour ultimatum for a ceasefire and said, “It is our ancestors' legacy to undertake the mission of protecting and watching over Gaza,” and at the end of the 24 hours, said, “Some have become tools of a smear campaign against me with a mocking tone, saying 'you go first'... If my state asks, if my nation supports, and if conditions require it, I would be a coward if I did not set out to protect the children in Gaza and enter the humanitarian position with a slingshot against a missile.” Bahçeli spoke this time as follows:

“The Turkish nation has united and locked itself against genocidal Israel. Of course, every scenario should be on the agenda; all political, strategic, and military preparations must be fortified, and it must be accurately confirmed that Turkey is not a country to be underestimated.”

Only 6 days ago, the National Security Council met; in the fifth article of the 9-point declaration published after the meeting, it was stated: “It was stated that the Israeli administration, which has clearly declared that it has no connection with any rule of law or humanitarian value through the massacres it has carried out despite the increasing reaction of the international community, must be stopped without delay; otherwise, it was reminded again that a spiral of violence that would first spread to adjacent areas and subsequently to the entire region could be triggered.” Now, look at what is being said?

And the declaration that we “entered” Karabakh and Libya from Erdoğan's own mouth is just the icing on the cake!..

The task fell to some journalists; some reminded that our soldiers did not enter Karabakh or Libya, but only provided equipment and advisory support, while others ironically recounted what the government has done for Gaza.

Kürecik-Saddam-Gaddafi-Haftar

Let's underline this assessment by Arslan Bulut from Yeniçağ:

“Turkey cannot intervene militarily in Israel under current conditions! Because the missile shield in Kürecik was placed there to protect Israel against Iranian air attacks. You will both protect Israel and enter it as if you were entering Karabakh or Libya! This is practically impossible.”

Indeed; shouldn't the Kürecik radar base on our soil be shut down before entering Israel?

Let's add these as well:

The Israeli Foreign Minister reminding Erdoğan of Saddam's end naturally angered us all. But let us not forget that Ankara unfortunately also contributed significantly to the imperialists overthrowing and lynching both Saddam and Gaddafi.

Who did we fight against in Libya? Against Haftar, whom they called a “coup plotter and murderer.” Let's look at the current situation. Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said just a week ago:

“We have contact with Mr. Haftar, we are meeting with his sons, we have opened our Consulate General in the east, and we are currently putting it into service. In other words, all kinds of relations are continuing, but we are currently looking at how we can use this relationship to bring the east and the west together.”

Where Are the Stick-Wielding Experts?

One cannot help but look at the state of the pro-government media. Fortunately, after these tremendous revelations by Erdoğan, the stick-wielding strategy experts did not appear on television to explain where we would enter and exit Israel from.

Actually, Erdoğan didn't say we would enter Israel tomorrow either; he said, “We must be strong so that...”

Still, there were those who took it upon themselves to explain those words.

One openly stated that Ankara's approach to the Palestinian issue “does not coincide with Mahmud Abbas's 'capitulationist policies',” while pointing to Hakan Fidan and explaining that “the Turkish state mind is equipped and prepared for all tests”...

Another stated that oppressors would not find salvation, that this would be no different for Israel, and prayed to “carry stones to the fire on that blessed day when we reach the power to take revenge for the oppressed”...

Yet another emphasized that with this move, Erdoğan fired the first signal flare of a “more conscientious world” and broke the wall of fear against Israel in the world...

In short; at this rate, it is near for all of us to lose our minds!..
