A state of the world without divisions

We have talked about it once again, we have even shouted, flared up, and gotten angry that women and men are not equal. Every March 8th is just a repetition of the previous one. The problem is serious, the solution is clear, but it is difficult to break out of this vicious cycle. Because someone, at some point, decided how to live, who should be positioned where, and what role they should play. Someone established an entire system by dividing people into rulers and the dependent, oppressors and the oppressed, exploiters and the exploited, masters and slaves, those who govern and those who are governed, those who give orders and those who are ready to obey them. Moreover, in today's supposedly advanced age of civilization, we are unfortunately still witnessing divisions between humans and those who are not considered human.

In that case, the problem is much deeper than the inequality between women and men. The problem is a lack of human maturity. Whether they possess power or not, humans have not yet been able to grasp what it means to be human.

While systems divide people into the strong or the weak, what power exactly means has not yet been fully defined or understood. In today's world, where systems—and therefore human relationships—are shaped along a material axis, it is known that the strong derive their power from material value, and the weak are deprived of it.

Yet, humans should not have derived their definition of power from matter, which is their own creation or production. Does the fact that humans transfer power from matter not actually mean that they turn matter into a subject and themselves into an object?

As humans transfer their own human value to matter, they identify themselves with the objective value of matter. This understanding actually forms the basis for all forms of division between people. Those who possess material power objectify those who lack it within their own spheres of influence. Divisions based on a material foundation have been processed and expanded over time through criteria such as gender, race, ethnicity, belief, language, and religion, and thus an understanding and operation consisting solely of exploiter and exploited relationships have become dominant.

I think it would be more accurate to address the inequality between women and men in this context to get to the root of the problem. The issue is that by exalting the matter they have created, taking refuge in it, and transferring power from it to themselves, humans are actually denying themselves—that is, their own humanity. This denial, this surrender, brings with it many divisions. And the easiest of these divisions is between women and men, based on biological differences.

Therefore, when talking about the problem, it is necessary to think about the root causes and not lose sight of the fact that the real issue is humans with themselves. For this, first of all, it is necessary to save humans from the materialism that has permeated their very bones. We need to create awareness to replace materialism with a love for humanity in some way. Instead of transferring power from matter, explaining to people that human power is inherent, and that humans should move away from the effort to gain value through matter and turn toward themselves, is the beginning of the solution.

Humans must first respect themselves; they must value themselves because they are human. Self-respect and self-worth lead them to respect and value others simply because they are human. Equality between people can only be achieved this way. Every person needs to understand that this world does not belong only to them. Every person needs to understand that every human being living in this world, and indeed every living creature, has an equal right to live.

The real issue is that the world we live in today is not humane, and the system is not built on human values. Therefore, the solution to the problem is primarily to strive to build a humane world. Only then will there be no room for divisions. If humanity can succeed in building a humane world, everyone, regardless of their gender, color, or nationality, will attain the rights and conditions to live a human life.

I know this is a utopia, but I also know that humanity can do it if it wants to. Because humans actually have a magnificent capacity. With this capacity, which they are not even aware of, they can rebuild the world if they want to. As long as they are aware, as long as this consciousness develops, and furthermore, as long as they want it.
