I have been staying in patient room number 716 at the Istanbul Florence Nightingale (FN) Hospital for 5 days. I feel quite well today. Hello to those who reached out to me and those who treated me.

First of all, I would like to thank my Chairman, Mr. Özgür Özel, and those who wished me a speedy recovery. I offer my respects to my Chairman, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who called me by phone during the first hours of the accident. I offer my sincere thanks to all my friends who sent messages. I would like to express my gratitude to my friend, Malatya Deputy Veli Ağbaba, who did not spare his close attention from the very first moment of the accident.

The accident occurred on the Izmir-Aydin Highway between Germencik and Incirliova. I think I noticed the semi-truck pulling over to the right to park at the last moment. I swerved the car to the left at the last second; however, I hit it with the right side of the car. Gendarmerie traffic teams and citizens provided the initial response.

An ambulance picked me up and took me to the Republic of Turkey Aydin Governorship Aydin Atatürk Hospital.

After examinations, blood tests, and imaging, I was transferred to the Istanbul FN Hospital. Cervical 1 and 2, and Lumbar 3 sustained very serious damage. They said that only 5-6 people in Turkey could perform this operation without any issues.

Prof. Dr. Azmi Hamzaoğlu accepted me and welcomed me very warmly at every stage. A magnificent team, a truly academic team that makes our country proud. The team is excellent.

Room number 716 is on the 7th floor, in the southeast of the hospital. From my bed, I see a few skyscrapers in the middle of rows of apartment buildings. I don't know how many floors they have; I cannot see their top floors from the position I am lying in. Torun Tower, Trump Tower; how many new words and degenerate concepts have entered our language in recent years. Skyscraper? Tower? Especially with social media hitting us hard.

To my right is the Çağlayan Courthouse... Don't ask me about that place, and I won't describe it. Since justice and law have been so worn down in this country, we have nothing left to say about it either. All that remains of justice are the Ottoman architectural buildings, which stand out.

Between the Çağlayan Courthouse and FN, there is a very important structure: the Monument of Liberty (Abide-i Hürriyet). The monument is the Turkish nation's first national monument and remained closed until 1960. It was erected in the name of the 31 March Incident.

Four Ottoman Pashas are located there: Enver Pasha, Midhat Pasha, Talat Pasha, and Grand Vizier and Minister of War Mahmut Şevket Pasha.

On one side is the first national monument, and on the other is Trump Tower. I am caught in between. That is all from me for today. Let us meet in better days.
