An Alternative New World

With Trump's inauguration, the global theater has ended. Everyone is now on their own. The next decade will be a decade of anti-democracy and fait accompli. European peoples had begun to react to the Islamization of Europe with Giorgia Meloni in Italy. In France, the National Rally (RN) is rising in parallel. After Merkel accepted 1.3 million undocumented migrants into Germany in 2015, unskilled migrants truly disrupted the peace and tranquility everywhere in Europe and triggered a strong anti-Islam sentiment.

Germany has general elections on Sunday, February 23. The most talked-about party in the election, the AfD, was founded in 2013 as an anti-euro movement. After the 2015 refugee influx, it evolved into an anti-immigrant and anti-Islam party. It is receiving a significant share of votes from the working class, low-income earners, and educated circles. The party seems poised to pull off a strong surprise with parliamentary representation, even exceeding the polls that measure it at 20%. Furthermore, changes were made to the electoral system to prevent the parliament from becoming overcrowded and to distribute seats proportionally. Now, even if candidates receive the most votes in their own constituency, they may lose their seat if their party does not receive enough votes nationwide.

The AfD will not be able to take part in the government because no other party will form a partnership with them. However, the AfD is currently the party with the highest motivation to get its voters to the polls and is considered anti-establishment. The fact that a quarter of the German electorate is voting for an anti-establishment party will trigger a change in Europe as significant as the US's choice of Trump. The party wants to end sanctions on Russia to restore natural gas flows, close German borders by leaving the Schengen and Euro zones, and reintroduce the Deutsche Mark.

In recent years, Germany had moved away from nuclear energy and fossil fuels, turning to wind and solar energy. China, with its low production costs and capacity, narrowed the market shares of German brands. When natural gas was also cut off after the Russia-Ukraine war, the cost of energy-intensive industry increased up to three times. It is also clear that Germany will be able to sell fewer products to the US after Trump's new customs tariffs. For these reasons, the departure of industrial companies and capital abroad has increased. In other words, economic and social balances have shifted. We have reached the threshold of one of the historical ruptures.

The new US administration has open support for the AfD. Co-Chairman Tino Chrupalla and parliamentary group deputy chair Beatrix Von Storch attended Trump's inauguration. At the Munich Security Conference, US Vice President J.D. Vance met with the AfD's Chancellor candidate Alice Weidel. Friedrich Merz, the leader of the CDU/CSU (Christian Democrats), who is expected to become Chancellor by finishing the election in Germany with the highest number of votes, was not engaged by the new US government. Elon Musk's open support via X could have a Cambridge Analytica effect. AfD rates are measured high among young people who will cast their first vote. Musk has said many times that Germany's only salvation is the AfD. In summary, in the new era, Germany will have a pro-Trump and anti-establishment main opposition party.

Support for the AfD among Turks is measured at 20%. For people who have been there for 60 years, unskilled migrants are more dangerous than the AfD. Furthermore, the recently arrived unskilled migrants are worsening the image of immigrants. It is a fact that Germany needs 400 thousand skilled migrants every year. In other words, the AfD could also be an alternative for skilled migrants who have adopted that place. No one is obliged to respect anything from those who disrupt social peace. The word integration, invented by globalists, is also becoming a thing of the past. There is no danger for those who assimilate into German culture, and this is the only thing hosts expect from their guests.

The moment the interests of the US regarding Canada and Greenland, Russia regarding Ukraine and Syria, and China regarding Taiwan and the South Pacific are balanced, the three big fish may swallow their own small fish, leaving Europe helpless and all alone. Economic and military insecurity in the EU is at its peak. Armin Papperger, CEO of the German arms industry giant RheinMetall, had said that Europe's weapons depots were empty, that only 1% of the gross domestic product had been invested in armaments over the last 30 years, and that Europe was being excluded because it was weak. Trump wants to increase this rate to 5% for NATO members and close the current account deficit with the EU through the weapons he will sell to Europe. It is certain that the budget cuts that will occur due to defense spending will also make Europe more nationalist and anti-immigrant. These developments could make Turkey's role more important for the European Union and the US. Thanks to the power vacuum in its region, Turkey could expand its sphere of influence by uniting on a common ground with the Kurds in Syria and Iraq and South Azerbaijan in Iran.

We are now hearing the rhetoric we listen to in our own country from US and European politicians in every language. We must increase the public's awareness and mobilization capacity to prepare for the new world that is preparing for conflict. Like in Switzerland and Israel, European states will soon introduce mandatory public service/military service for a certain age range. We have a massive young population. Leaving this population completely free instead of mobilizing them for 1-2 years and subjecting them to mandatory public service and education is a more dangerous situation.
