The Municipal Law was amended by Decree-Law No. 674, issued on September 1, 2016. This new regulation, introduced under the state of emergency, granted the Ministry of Interior the right to appoint trustees if a mayor is under a terrorism investigation. This was undoubtedly a guided law. With the same decree-law, the municipality's budget and accounting affairs were transferred to the tax office, i.e., the central administration, and the duties and powers of the municipal council were assumed by the civil servant members of the executive committee.

FETÖ/PDY infiltrated every capillary of the state and rotted the state mechanism. The leaking of information and preparations from the Cosmic Room handed over Turkey's 100-year accumulation to its enemies. Generations were raised without merit. Society lost its soul. After the 2017 Constitutional Referendum, the country began to be governed by a one-person government, namely the President. This understanding of governance, which is completely contrary to the dynamics of the Republic, effectively locked the system. As a result of the destabilization of Syria, millions of people migrated to our country. While our demographics were already sufficiently distorted, President Erdoğan met one-on-one with US President Biden at the June 2021 NATO summit. After the meeting, which was held with the interpretation of Fatima Gülham Abushanab, the daughter of Merve Kavakçı and Ali Ahmad Abushanab, without any other public officials present, Afghans also began to flock to our country.

It is never clear in Turkey which process will proceed where and how. Our agenda is 20 times more crowded than that of a European. Therefore, our memory is weak. It has long been forgotten that the process suddenly started with the phrase, "Let Abdullah Öcalan come out and shout from the parliamentary podium." At the point we have reached, a CHP municipality with a population larger than 57 cities has been seized. The subsequent appointment of trustees to 3 DEM municipalities, the night raids, the evidence, and the way it was presented show that this new process is a Kurdish Ergenekon. The government is both seizing the gains of the "city consensus" and bringing CHP-DEM flags side by side. Since it is clear that time is working against the public and the opposition, there seems to be no salvation other than an early election. What was done to Prof. Dr. Ahmet Özer is shameful, just like the examples in the Ergenekon, Balyoz, and many other political trials. Political trials and arrests are practices that the government and the state mind should abandon first. These lower our democracy to the African level. It is impossible for a country where such events occur to develop and prosper.

The first act of the Esenyurt trustee was to take control of social media accounts. The AKP is a party of legitimacy. At first, they had convinced society that they were 50%. Now they are convincing them that they rely on an imaginary state mind. However, they never truly constituted a majority, and it was clearly revealed in the March 31, 2024 local elections that they had fallen into a minority. Approximately one year before every election, they threw a crisis into the lap of society. Thanks to the pro-government media under their control, they molded the public as they wished and prepared them for the point they wanted to reach. According to OECD data, the reading comprehension rate in Turkey is 39%. In other words, it is not difficult to convince people for a few weeks and win an election. Furthermore, no one knows how many foreigners have been made Turkish citizens and have voted. It has become a common occurrence for Turkish citizens, who are handed a microphone for interviews in the pro-government media, to answer in Arabic.

The CHP's November 2 Istanbul meeting and Özgür Özel's speeches at the group meeting are promising, but resisting this injustice in sheltered halls will not yield results. I personally accept that President Erdoğan can run for election again and that members of parliament be granted retirement rights without waiting for May 2025. Since what they say will happen at the end of the day, there is no need to waste time by resisting and not letting them do what they say. Moreover, there is a very easy way for citizens to direct politics and the country's administration with their opinions and thoughts. And it is a method that does not exist in any other country in the world: E-Devlet (e-Government). An early election request button or an early election poll can be safely conducted on the site. I am not talking about an online referendum. It should not be difficult to conduct/have a straw poll on the site where all citizens are natural members. Taking the country to an early election by magnifying the need for an early election in society is not a task for everyone. The opportunity to go down in history has come to the feet of our heroes who aspire to these duties for such difficult days.
