Over the past 10 days, we have witnessed how the storm of transformation that began with Trump in the US has leveled two deep-state institutions that have been the US's democracy exporters for the last 60 years: the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the National Endowment for Democracy (NED). Until now, coups and interventions were carried out or funded through these institutions in an institutional sense. In the final act of Trump's confrontation with the US deep state, both of these institutions were liquidated under the leadership of Elon Musk. We used to hear about these institutions while they were tearing countries apart with words that sound pleasant, such as coup attempts, elections, human rights, or freedom. Two years ago, the individuals and institutions they funded in our country were also on the agenda. 

In the Trump administration's report on USAID and NED, the discussion was not about why these foreign interventions were made, but why money was spent, and at the end of the day, 97% of USAID staff were laid off. The Bulldozer Revolution in Yugoslavia (2000), the Rose Revolution in Georgia (2003), the Orange Revolution in Ukraine (2004), the Cedar Revolution in Lebanon (2005), the Tulip Revolution in Kyrgyzstan (2005), the Blue Revolution in Kuwait (2005), and the Saffron Revolution in Myanmar (2007) were just a few of these.

Contrary to Mehmet Ağar, who said, "If we pull one brick, the whole wall will collapse," it is clear and evident that Trump, who will turn 79 this year, will carry out serious purges in the CIA, FBI, and all ossified US institutions with fearless and bold moves. In this respect, Trump is filling the substance of the MAGA (Make America Great Again) movement and cleaning out the tumors that have settled in his country.

The reason for Trump taking a scalpel to the system lies in the fact that these interventionist structures have set out to design the US from within, engage in social engineering, and interfere in elections. Mark Zuckerberg also admitted in 2022 that he was asked to censor news about Hunter Biden through the FBI, and that the circulation of some information regarding Covid-19 and vaccines was blocked in a way that was contrary to the truth. 

While all this is happening, a serious shift is taking place between the supporters and opponents of the establishment within the US. While opponents of the establishment among Democrats and Republicans are joining Trump and the Republicans, supporters of the establishment are breaking away from the Republicans and Trump to join the Democrats.

In the final act of all these balance games in the US Senate, a development occurred today that is like the cherry on top. Tulsi Gabbard, a former lieutenant colonel in the US Army, was elected Director of National Intelligence (DNI) by the Senate with a 52 to 48 majority. Her duty will be to coordinate intelligence from 18 different agencies. Until last year, Gabbard was on the CIA's terror watch list. In other words, a transformation is taking place that is far beyond what we can perceive. Gabbard visited Assad in 2017, stated that she did not see Edward Snowden as a traitor but as a hero in the Edward Snowden affair, and that the real traitors were the officials in the documents Snowden revealed, and noted that the Russia-Ukraine war happened because of NATO's mistake. 

The fact that most of the senators opposing Gabbard are linked to the NED explains why the USAID and NED operations were initiated as a priority. It is clear that Trump is trying to bring the Senate into line from day one. It seems difficult for the US establishment to withstand a transformation coming with a strong wind of change and a qualified team. 

Our country, which has suffered greatly from the deep state of America since 1950, also needs to get the share it deserves from such a change, end the stepchild treatment it has received, and align the interests of the US and Turkey. It does not seem rational at all to stand against a change that is cleaning its own country's establishment with an axe, due to the problems of Middle Eastern societies that gained the right to self-determination by rebelling a hundred years ago. One cannot help but think of the poem by Saadi Shirazi; "We need another life after our death, for our life was spent only in hoping."
