The Regulation on Forest Cadastre and 2/B Implementation has been amended, introducing the requirement that for an area to be removed from the scope of forest land, it must have completely lost its forest character before December 31, 1981, and must contain multiple structures in accordance with the Zoning Law. Structures, businesses, and facilities used for housing and storage in areas utilized for agriculture and livestock have been deemed integral parts of the land. An additional application/payment period until July 31, 2026, has been granted for those who missed the application or payment deadlines for the sale of 2B lands.
With the amendment made to the professional chamber and working regulations for Certified Public Accountants and Sworn-in Certified Public Accountants, it has been made possible for financial advisors to serve as independent board members in joint-stock companies.

The amendment to the Electricity Generation Inc. (EÜAŞ) General Directorate Tender and Implementation Regulation has paved the way for the sale of lignite, feldspar, and limestone mining sites held by the company.
With Presidential Decree No. 10881 on E-Export Supports, support for sectoral trade and procurement delegations, e-export development project support, and Turkey e-Export Platform supports have been removed from the legislation. The support rate for the e-export promotion project has been reduced from 75% to 50%. Applications currently under review will not be affected by this change.
With the amendment to the Regulation on Persons Who Will Use Private Boats, the commercial use of private boats has been prohibited, effective in 6 months. Boats may only be temporarily used by someone other than the owner for non-commercial purposes with a notarized authorization certificate. In case of violation of this rule, the license will be suspended for 6 months.
The Constitutional Court;
- Found the legislation stating that no material or moral compensation shall be paid to individuals who were dismissed from public service on the grounds of being linked or affiliated with a terrorist organization but were later acquitted and returned to their duties to be unconstitutional.
- Ruled that the practice frequently applied by Tax Offices in our country, where the statute of limitations is interrupted by conducting an audit on taxpayers shortly before the expiration of the period and referring the file to the valuation commission, violates the right to property.
- Ruled that because the security measure of house arrest involves obligations as heavy as detention, ordering this measure without justification or without being tied to grounds close to the conditions for detention violates the right to personal liberty and security.
- Ruled that the inability of the defendant to cross-examine a witness whose statements were decisive in the conviction decision during the hearing violates the right to a fair trial.
