With Law No. 7584 on the Amendment of the Soil Conservation and Land Use Law and Certain Other Laws;

-The construction of structures such as bungalows, hobby gardens, and vineyard houses, which had been restricted by the Regulation on the Protection and Use of Agricultural Lands published in the Official Gazette dated April 4, 2026, was prohibited. With the new law, it is also prohibited to provide electricity, water, and natural gas connections to any structure or facility built on agricultural land without permission.

-The acquisition of agricultural land by cooperatives established for agricultural purposes has been made subject to ministry approval. The acquisition of agricultural land by housing and construction cooperatives operating for non-agricultural purposes has been completely prohibited.

-It is prohibited for companies that produce, import, or market alcoholic beverages to support events, broadcasts, and posts in any medium with their trade names, or with the brands, emblems, or logos of their products; it is also prohibited for the names, brands, logos, and visuals of these companies to be displayed inside, outside, or in the windows of workplaces, or in event areas.

-The authority to impose administrative sanctions for violations regarding the ban on the sale of alcoholic beverages between 22:00 and 06:00 has been transferred to local administrative authorities.

Amendments were made to the Regulations on the Evaluation and Classification of Motion Pictures and the Support of the Cinema Sector. With the new regulations, an upper limit was placed on discount rates, and a new ticket type called "special film ticket" was added to the legislation. The maximum discount rates were set at 40% for public days and student tickets; 50% for the disabled, morning sessions, and special viewer tickets; 70% for the newly added special film ticket type; and an extra 10% for tickets purchased online. Additionally, foreign feature film and series projects to be filmed in Turkey were included in the scope of support.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism Publication Regulation was published, repealing the old 2007 regulation, and the Presidency of Alevi-Bektashi Culture and Cemevi was established within the Ministry.

An amendment was made to the Communiqué on the Implementation of the Regulation on the Qualifications of Tourism Facilities, making it mandatory to obtain a music license certificate from the relevant federation for music to be played in the general areas of the facilities. The obligation to obtain a license certificate begins immediately for accommodation facilities and as of 2027 for other facilities.

The BRSA (Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency) granted permission to BİM Birleşik Mağazalar A.Ş. to establish a bank under the title Dost Katılım Bankası A.Ş.

By a decision of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), it was decided that the TBMM, which would normally go into recess on July 1, 2026, will not go into recess and will continue its legislative activities.
