Israeli Mossad agents have been captured on Turkish soil.
I congratulate the agency.
The television is showing the agents.
If you look at their appearance, they look like riffraff.
Some of these sinister figures had established lodges and served as imams.
Most of them were reportedly Palestinian.
A complete espionage operation.
One cannot help but think that there must be those among them in ties and suits somewhere out there.
It seems that as we pull the thread, we will head in those directions.
The poor Turkish people.
They still haven't understood who to stand behind and who not to.
They lost two-thirds of their lands, and they didn't understand.
They were killed in the Balkans, driven from their ancestral lands, and they didn't understand.
They were tested with hunger, ate wood shavings, and they didn't understand.
Those who fled by oxcart on the road of migration buried their children by the roadside, and those who fled by ship buried them at sea; they didn't understand.
They were stabbed in the back by their Muslim brothers, and they didn't understand.
Many of the leaders he thought were Muslim fled and were buried in infidel lands; he did not understand.
Even though some were martyred in infidel lands, their remains were brought back years later with the testament of "bury me in the soil of the homeland" he did not understand.
That was until he refused to listen, saw the F-16s flown by the dissimulating agent pilots he thought were his Muslim brothers in the air, and took the bomb to his head.
For a moment, when he took the bomb, we thought he had understood, but it was in vain.
The one he most recently believed in does not seem to prefer dying on Muslim soil either, but our people still do not understand.
It is not Atatürk, the Pasha of a World Empire like the Ottoman Empire, who saved his homeland, honor, chastity, property, future, and generation, Much like the saying that "the grass looks greener on the other side of the creek to the ox", they follow rootless and uneducated charlatans whose origins are unknown.
They mistake every bearded man for a grandfather or a Muslim, and line up behind them.
Anyway, let us not stray too far from the topic.
Following the turmoil in our region, millions of individuals of unknown background from neighboring countries have flooded into our country.
Some of them are working as academics, especially in newly established universities.
I have met some of them in passing on the street, in the cafeteria, or in the dining hall.
I never visited the room, and the conversation didn't last very long anyway.
Perhaps it is because I did not encounter any academic mental algorithm.
Those who would not even be able to work as janitors under normal conditions in their own countries have attained positions in Turkish universities under the guise of being academics.
Some of them even speak Turkish like me.
They have become professors in universities based on declarations rather than merit.
There is neither an understandable article nor a proper thesis to be found.
It would take a thousand witnesses to prove they are academics.
Plenty of photoshopped diplomas of questionable origin.
Some have even established lodges and are waiting for professorship positions.
They will likely be appointed as Rectors soon.
Seeing the latest ones caught—the Jewish Israeli Muslim Palestinian Mossad agents—reminded me of a story I read years ago.
Back then, there were no documentary channels with such academic capacity.
They were mostly focused on the reproductive principles of cheetahs.
Captain Cousteau was also introducing crabs to the world.
Historical documentary filmmaking has come to the forefront in recent years.
Even films and series depicting "periods" have become popular.
They used to say that during the broadcast time of the series "Magnificent Century," which depicts the era of Suleiman the Magnificent,
you couldn't find a soul on the streets in the Balkans.
Just like Turkey in the 80s, when Dallas—with J.R., Sue Ellen, Bobby, Pamela, and Lucy—entered our lives.
The series "Spy" is also one of the notable ones among them.
While watching the series, a story I had read came to mind.
The so-called "Six-Day War" or the "1967 Arab-Israeli War" The story takes place during that period.
The Arabs, who attacked Israel under the leadership of Egypt—the big brother of the Arabs—and with the support of Syria and Jordan, were knocked out instantly. Despite an alliance including Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, and Sudan, they were unable to launch a single plane or carry out any operations.
All their operational plans, fighter jets, tanks, and military ammunition were destroyed by Israel's sudden air strikes.
Unable to make sense of these shock raids, the Arab states prepared a "Top Secret Operation Plan." They also strictly prohibited anyone from leaving the Cabinet meeting until the operation reached its objective.
During the meeting, which lasted quite a long time, one of the Deputy Ministers of Defense told the Prime Minister that he was in a hurry and needed to go to the restroom.
During the meeting, which lasted quite a long time, one of the Deputy Ministers of Defense told the Prime Minister that he was in a hurry and needed to go to the restroom.
The Prime Minister, however, stated that the rule was very clear and that no one could leave the room.
When the Deputy Minister's pleas to use the restroom did not work, he was forced to soil himself.
Afterward, the wife of the Deputy Minister of Defense came to the door of the Council of Ministers and said she wanted to see her husband. Even though the officials told her it was not possible, the woman insisted.
Following her insistence, the officials stated that entry and exit were not possible and that if she had a note, they could deliver it for her.
The minister's wife replied that she did not have a note, but that she had simply brought clean underwear for her husband, and handed it over to the officials to be delivered.
But what was done was done.
The war was lost.
In the war between the cousins, 20,000 Arab soldiers died, while only 1,000 Israeli soldiers died.
The Golan Heights, which contain vital water basins, have remained with Israel.
The trauma created by the defeat still haunts the Arab soul like a nightmare.
What happened to this Deputy Minister, you ask?
He said his final prayer in Damascus Square without a trial.
