It's Coming, It's Coming, the Çatalhöyük “Revolution” Is Coming

In the recent period of the world, that is, in the last 250 years, there have been quite a few revolutions.

In our short lives, we have personally witnessed the third and fourth ones.

We saw the computer, and we took “Fortran and Basic” programming courses at university.

We are now witnessing the fifth one.

If God grants us life, we will hopefully see many more revolutions.

The lives of those who lived shortly before us were truly difficult.

They lived in the “Yabba Dabba Doo” era.

There was a prehistory, that is, a prehistoric period.

They call it the Stone Age.

It is not as if there are no people who say it is still being lived in some parts of Anatolia.

And in regions not too far from Ankara, at that.

The Stone Age was also divided into sections within itself.

Bronze Age

Iron Age

Old Stone

Chipped Stone

Paleolithic

Mesolithic

Polished Stone

Neolithic

All of these were experienced thousands of years before Christ.

In those years, Homo erectus had not yet become erect.

Meaning, it could not walk upright.

The 250,000-year-old Homo sapiens, or “thinking man,” had not yet emerged either.

Neanderthals, who are still frequently seen around today, “especially those flourishing within closed structures in a system they call ‘community,’ where ‘bread comes from the hand and water from the lake’ (a life of ease),” were not on the market in those years either.

There were primates.

I am not going into too much detail.

Then matters of evolution and such come up.

Ultimately, we are also followers of the Sunnah.

Let archaeologists, anthropologists, and biologists deal with it.

Let us not get ourselves into trouble.

I am more interested in Karahan Tepe, Göbekli Tepe, and Çatalhöyük.

Çatalhöyük is the first settlement from 10,000 years ago.

It is a bit easier for us to understand.

In these periods, there was no steam, steam power, electricity, telephone, microwave oven, computer, food processor, diapers, or baby formula.

In other words, there are still 10,000 years to go until smart systems.

We see that our grandparents, who lived 2-3 generations ago and had neither telephones nor computers,

lived in almost the same conditions as the people of Çatalhöyük.

In the Çatalhöyük period, humans woke up with the sun and slept when it set.

Their primary goal was nutrition, shelter, reproduction, and survival.

They were governed by the occipital lobe, that is, the back of the brain.

They did not use the frontal lobe, that is, the front part of the brain, much.

That is why the forehead was a bit recessed.

The frontal lobe had only just begun to exert outward pressure.

It is now known that a recessed forehead hinders thinking.

We can say their processor was “Single-Core.”

It was not “Quad-Core” like the current Gen Z.

Whatever happened, millions of years of accumulation suddenly passed from the consistency limit to the flow

limit, and industrial revolutions exploded one after another.

1760s - 1st Industrial Revolution with water and steam power,

1870s - 2nd Industrial Revolution with electricity,

1960s - 3rd Industrial Revolution with computers,

2000s - 4th Industrial Revolution with software.

Now there are smart systems, artificial intelligence, robots, the internet of things, chips, and so much more.

The intervals between industrial revolutions, which were previously over a hundred years, have narrowed significantly.

The time between the last revolutions has dropped to 30-40 years.

Nations that closely follow industrial revolutions and integrate them into their systems will crush and surpass the others.

Industry 4.0 practitioners, who reduce costs and increase efficiency, will leave the others behind by a logarithmic margin.

That is, while one is struggling to make ends meet, cannot eat nutritiously, cannot receive adequate healthcare, cannot extend their lifespan, and cannot provide the necessary education for their children, the other will have a billion-dollar fortune and possess all the opportunities.

Their lifespan will increase, they will not get sick, and they will have a healthy society model.

They will produce, eat, drink, love, travel, and have fun.

The other, however, will be back to the Çatalhöyük era.

That is, to the era of reproduction, nutrition, shelter, and protection.
