Let's stop the gossip and get to work

Our ancestors said, "A person's mirror is their work, not their words." They were absolutely right. A person is human as long as they work and produce. Every person born into life has a responsibility toward the world they are born into. Every individual is primarily obligated to add value to their own life, and consequently, to humanity. This is possible through working and producing. It is clear that developed countries and societies living in prosperity derive their strength from production. If unemployment rates are near zero in Western societies today, and if people are not living in poverty and deprivation, the fundamental reason is that the consciousness of production is generally accepted and established at a societal level. 

LET'S COME TO US

One way or another, after long efforts, one of us managed to go to space. Isn't it a great source of pride that the words of our leader, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, are echoing in space, and in our own language at that? Turkey now has a representative in space, and they didn't go empty-handed; they aim to return with their hands full. They plan to conduct certain experiments using data collected from our universities and scientific circles. There is an excited anticipation regarding the real-world impact of the responsibility our astronaut has taken on. Those who sent data to space are holding their breath in anticipation. We, too, are watching this excited wait with pleasure. What a great joy!

In the meantime, the charlatans, the loudmouths, and the gossips have found work. Social media is absolutely boiling. It is fair to say that anyone with a mouth is talking. Gossip is a dime a dozen. There isn't a single aspect of the astronaut, from their political past to their academic identity, that hasn't been put on the table. 

The same narrow-mindedness, the same fanatical stance, and the same ignorance were quick to take their place on the stage once again. It is always like this. As soon as someone achieves a success, the charlatans, the incompetent, the lazy, and the visionless immediately emerge and start making a racket. Reason-based science has always posed a threat to the mob that has adopted ignorance as a philosophy of life and to the parasites who thrive through it. 

THE MARKET FOR CHARLATANISM HAS ALSO HEATED UP:

"Oh, what is the need to spend so much money to send a person to space; instead of spending fifty million dollars, they should give me a hundred thousand dollars, and I would explain all the truths about space." 

You've offered quite a generous discount, thank you. But since you are such a sublime charlatan, why don't you do this for free just once? Tell us what you know, and humanity will pray for you. Don't be afraid; as long as there are so many ignorant people, there will never be a crisis in the market of charlatanism. Just once, speak up so we can know the truth. Humanity has been struggling for thousands of years to solve the secrets of space. You clearly have Pandora's box; go ahead, open it!

GOSSIP-FOCUSED TEAMWORK

This situation applies not only in the scientific field but in all segments of life. Those who lack the enthusiasm for work and production always pose an obstacle to those who have it. This is also what lies beneath the efforts to suppress and demoralize, often expressed in workplaces as the concept of mobbing. It is the attempt by those who lack work and production energy to exert pressure on those who deeply feel this energy, trying to make them like themselves. 

In many workplaces, teams formed around gossip are an obstacle to the formation of work-focused teams. The gossip network develops, spreads, and branches out so much that it becomes impossible for people inclined to work and produce to exist or create a living space. Making a difference by producing work is a threat to those who want to maintain the routine by producing gossip. Therefore, those who produce gossip try to keep those who produce work away from production and pull them into their own teams. This leads to endless conflicts between the two groups. 

IS CHANGE POSSIBLE?

Difficult, but not impossible. The development and establishment of a production-focused mindset take time. For this, education must first enter a process of change from a dogmatic approach to an analytical one. Every person has the potential for production energy. It is possible to activate this through education. 

Instead of rote-learning education, we must turn toward investigative and questioning education. An individual who criticizes, asks questions, and researches can take part in production in a qualified manner. 

Let them think, criticize, and talk.
