It turns out…

The election results are in. Thus, the "situation" that has actually driven the nation to despair for years and caused the opposition to constantly lose elections has been revealed.

It turns out the nation was looking for a person to vote for, and once they found that "person," they cast their vote.

The election can be evaluated from many perspectives, but in my opinion, the most important result is that the CHP has become the leading party across Turkey. For the first time in 47 years, the CHP has become the leading party in Turkey. In my view, the first factor that brought about this situation is the change that took place within the CHP. With this change, the CHP has become a source of hope for the public. The public has come to believe that with Özgür Özel, Ekrem İmamoğlu, Mansur Yavaş, and many other soldiers who have dedicated their hearts to the CHP, Turkey can return to the founding values of the Republic and normalize.

Let us recall that while making criticisms here, I explained that "it is impossible for Turkey to normalize without winning back the CHP." What was presented as the New CHP was, in fact, the CHP distancing itself from its own founding values. Alienating Atatürkists and patriots from the CHP and walking alongside second-republicans, political Islamists, PKK sympathizers, cultists, genocide apologists, and Soros supporters since 2010 has cost the CHP 15 years. The CHP can only win if it enters the election with its own identity. The CHP, which said "our candidate is the political Islamist Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu" in the presidential elections, could not be the real CHP. I hope that as of today, this sociological situation is understood and this identity-less understanding of politics is abandoned. It should never be forgotten that 14 long elections were lost in plain sight on this path.

Of course, this situation also made the government arrogant. A perception of "no matter what I do, I won't lose an election" was formed. For this reason, the government lost its respect for the constitution and the laws, and Turkey became unrecognizable. The government became reckless enough to declare the CHP, the founding party of Turkey, as a party affiliated with terrorism. However, the public responded in this election by making the CHP the leading party of Turkey, saying "this is going too far."

Finally, it is necessary to know the past well. The public's credit is not infinite. The CHP must cement this interest shown in it by working harder and being very successful in local municipalities. Otherwise, what happened in 1994 after 1989 is clear. It must make the importance it attaches to the concepts of rights, law, and justice visible in local municipalities and explain that it is ready to govern Turkey. The road is long. There is still much to be done.

With my wishes for a period where everything will be much more beautiful...
