Events in our country move so fast that by the time we catch up with the agenda, understand, analyze, and interpret it, many other developments have already taken place. The pace is dizzying... One after another... Economy, law, justice, democracy, fundamental rights and freedoms... We will address these comprehensively…

DON'T FORGET!

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is our homeland, which has been an independent state for 43 years…

Following the summit held by Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan with the European Union (EU), their decisions to recognize the Greek Cypriot Administration as the 'Republic of Cyprus' were not discussed enough—was it due to the intensity of the agenda or other reasons!

This is a development that contains very negative consequences for our country and the TRNC.

I respectfully commemorate the legendary leaders of the Cyprus cause, Dr. Fazıl Küçük and Rauf Denktaş; the architects of the Peace Operation, Bülent Ecevit and Necmettin Erbakan; our heroes who fell as martyrs for the homeland; our veterans; our kinsmen who were massacred by Greek gangs at the instigation of imperialists; and those who risked their lives for the homeland and their struggles.

What path was followed against the Turkish Republics recognizing the Greek Cypriot Administration as the representative of the island? What will be done from now on? What path will Turkey follow from now on for the international recognition of the TRNC?

We will watch and see what will be done to maintain relations with the Turkish Republics, to have them accept the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus as a full member of the Organization of Turkic States, to have these countries recognize the TRNC, or to initiate direct flights and trade and ensure they open trade offices in the TRNC that are also responsible for political issues...

We held a comprehensive broadcast on this matter with Prof. Dr. Hasan Ünal on the 12punto YouTube channel.

Hasan Ünal, who has been tirelessly voicing the truths about the Cyprus cause for years, argues that reacting too harshly to the Central Asian Turkic Republics and damaging our relations with these countries would only delight the Greek/Greek Cypriot duo.

Of course, we shouldn't do that, but he says it wouldn't be right to just leave this issue alone and swallow it either.

He also finds Azerbaijan's stance positive.

He has concrete suggestions regarding what Turkey should do in this process:

Intensive lobbying activities can be carried out within the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to ensure that the representation of the TRNC under the name 'Turkish Cypriot State' is converted to its constitutional name, i.e., the TRNC.

Direct responses can also be given from the island to these initiatives taken by the Greek Cypriots using the EU. For example, many issues such as the abolition of the Immovable Property Commission, the opening of Erenköy to settlement, and the suspension of relations with the UN Peacekeeping Force can be brought to the agenda.

It can be announced that no negotiations will be held with the Greek Cypriot side. It can even be voiced that the TRNC and Turkey return to the integration project that was determined in 2002 and suspended by the political power.

Let us ask again: The TRNC has been an independent state since November 15, 1983. Why has it not been recognized by any country in these past 42 years?

What are the shortcomings and mistakes?

The recognition of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, our homeland which has great strategic importance in the Blue Homeland in the Eastern Mediterranean, as a state remains a major task before us.

As the 51st anniversary of the July 24 Peace Operation approaches, we must strive harder to fulfill this responsibility placed upon us!

MAY OUR CYPRUS CAUSE NEVER, EVER BE FORGOTTEN!
