Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya… And now Syria… The Greater Middle East Project (GMEP) is working like clockwork… The next target is Iran… And then Turkey…

I wrote in this column a short while ago that 'the sweet dreams we had about Syria are about to become our nightmare.' The developments in Syria over the last few days seem to be a harbinger of what is to come. A country dismantled by the hands of imperialism, people massacred… Plans are being made to divide it into four pieces. Its values and resources will be plundered. Amidst celebrations, Israel is marching toward Damascus. And it is doing so with complete ease… The US and Israel have also eliminated the most important power in the region that supported Palestine.

Imperialism has been doing this for years: 'Divide, fragment, rule!'

Sectarian wars, ethnic conflicts, feudal structures bought with money…

Societies that have failed to become a nation or establish a common structure are rapidly disintegrating… In their place, micro-states are being established. Regimes that are archaic, far from democracy and freedom, and act as satellites of imperialism are taking hold.

And all of this is being done under the guise of toppling 'oppressive leaders.' However, the people of a country should determine their own destiny. If it is to be changed, they should be the ones to change it. We have been watching the film titled 'Greater Middle East Project (GMEP),' for which imperialists have written the script and directed, for years...

The GMEP map published in the US Armed Forces Journal in 2006 showed that the borders of 22 countries were being changed. The plan is proceeding…

We saw it in Yugoslavia: In the 1990s, the country was divided into 7 pieces through civil war and NATO.

We saw it in Afghanistan: The country was invaded in 2001. Thousands of people died during the 20-year occupation. The US withdrew in 2021, and currently, Afghanistan is under the control of the Taliban…

We saw it in Iraq: The US invaded Iraq in 2003 with the promise of toppling Saddam Hussein and bringing freedom. Over 1 million people were killed. Currently, a mini-state has been created in the North by the US. Shiites are a separate structure, Sunnis are a separate structure. The country's resources, primarily oil, have been and continue to be plundered by imperialists and their collaborators.

We saw it in Libya: Muammar Gaddafi's regime was toppled in 2011 with the support of NATO and imperialists for reactionary groups in Libya, which is the most important point of the GMEP in North Africa and holds a critical position in terms of the Eastern Mediterranean. The country is currently in 3 pieces.

And finally, Syria. The last secular state of the Arab geography was destroyed by jihadists. Israel occupied the entirety of the Golan Heights from the south and began its march toward Damascus. It struck more than 250 targets, including Syria's airports, defense systems, and bases. Perhaps Israel has never been this comfortable in its history. Bad days await the Middle East. Especially the Palestinian people. Because one of the most important powers facing Israel has been neutralized!

It is stated that Syria will be divided into 4 pieces. In the North, a US-backed PKK/YPG terrorist organization formation. Which Turkey must not allow!

In the South, an Israeli-backed Druze state… Israel's goal is to create a corridor by connecting this mini-state with the structure intended to be established in the North…

An Alawite state on the Mediterranean coast, in the Latakia-Tartus region.

And a Sunni Arab state under the administration of HTS.

The turn is for Iran… The ultimate target is Turkey…

In short, the GMEP aims for countries in our geography to be divided and fragmented on sectarian and ethnic bases, for their administrations to be determined, and for their underground and surface riches to be seized. The imperialists are sitting at the cash register. And at the end of the story, the house always wins… For the oppressed, all that remains is slaughtering each other, blood, tears, and death…

Have you ever wondered; what would we do if we didn't have our Atatürk, our Republic, and our nation-state?
