Pious robots are coming

Gallup has announced the world's angriest countries with its 2024 Global Emotions report. Turkey ranked second with a rate of 48 percent. Lebanon, where 49.7 percent of the population is angry, holds the top spot. We missed out on first place by a hair's breadth.

The report was compiled by utilizing countries' economic fluctuations and the difficulties of daily living conditions alongside the general emotional state of the public.

With baby-killing doctors, counterfeit dollars, femicides, child murderers, horse meat in hamburgers, pork in meatballs, and economic hardship, our emotional state has propelled us to second place. 

Our emotional state changes every day. The United Public-Labor Confederation (Birleşik Kamu-İş) calculated the hunger and poverty thresholds the other day. The hunger threshold has risen to 22,565 liras, and the poverty threshold to 69,681 liras. Our emotional state has fluctuated wildly... Now, what should we do, dance for joy instead of getting angry?

But for some, these are not reasons to be angry. The real things we should be mad at are the TV series! Because these immoral screenwriters, Western-puppet television channels, and anti-religious actors are portraying religious sects as bigoted and reactionary!

In our country, there is an agenda for everyone. Some are struggling for bread, some are angry at TV series, some are conquering the world with an axe in their hand in another series, and some believe everything is a game played by the satanic families who rule the world. 

As I said, everyone's agenda is different; the emotional state and agenda of the Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) are also very different! If those who prepared the world's angriest countries report were to examine Diyanet's emotional state, we wouldn't even make it into the top ten, let alone the podium, on a list that includes Lebanon, Armenia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Jordan, Mali, Sierra Leone, Equatorial Guinea, and Nigeria!

For example, let's look at the agenda of the President of Religious Affairs, Ali Erbaş. Since he doesn't have any worries about making a living, he has become obsessed with robots.

Erbaş has rolled up his sleeves to develop pious 'AI chatbots' following the creation of pious generations. 

Arguing that the Directorate of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) should utilize new technologies, Erbaş stated: "Content provided by the Presidency should be re-planned by taking artificial intelligence algorithms into account, and AI chatbots should be developed that contain authentic religious information where users can learn about religious matters while observing cultural sensitivities."

He is right... In fact, a new budget should be allocated to the Diyanet for this immediately. Just as there was no compromise on prestige for luxury official vehicles, and as it was granted a budget exceeding that of many ministries, unlimited resources should be provided for such a project, and it should be started without wasting any time. 

This is the best project I have heard of since the technological success of the students at the Mersin Mut Anatolian İmam Hatip High School, who transformed 'priest plums' into 'imam plums'!

Wouldn't it be super if a meeting were held with Elon Musk, with whom we have very good relations, and if his humanoid Optimus robots were used for this task?

For instance, if Optimus robots wearing skullcaps gave sermons to children... 

If this project comes to life, I bet we would guarantee first place not just on this list, but on many others. Who knows what state the budget spent on this will put the nation's emotional state in?
