Rotten egg!

Have you ever been in an egg warehouse?

In those large warehouses where there are thousands of eggs, usually without windows so they don't get sunlight, and painted only with lime to keep them cool…

Let me explain why I am asking this question;

There are 30 eggs in a carton. These cartons are called trays.

There are tens of thousands of trays in these warehouses. If we do a simple calculation, 10,000 x 30 = 300,000 eggs…

Why did we do this simple calculation?

If one egg starts to rot among 300,000 eggs, woe is me! All 300,000 fall under suspicion as to which one is rotten…

It is impossible to tell if an egg is rotten. It rots from the inside out. So much so that it is not possible to tell that it is rotten by its appearance at first. But it quickly starts to rot its surroundings as well. 

A faint smell spreads, which is the producer's worst nightmare. Because by the time that smell is noticed, it is already too late. 

Many of the eggs start to become infested with maggots at a speed that can no longer be saved. But the sole culprit for this is that first rotten egg. 

In fact, most of the time, it is very difficult to find that rotten egg which is the real problem among the maggot-infested ones. Producers call this egg a 'Bomb' because if it breaks, the smell it spreads around is unbearable…

Turkish football is spreading a terrible smell, just like this rotten egg, which quickly infests its surroundings with maggots. 

For months, TFF President Mehmet Büyükekşi has been the biggest issue discussed by the sports community. 

No club wants the president sitting in that seat. In fact, even the club of which the Turkish Football Federation President, who has been a Galatasaray congress member since 2008, is a member does not want him. Moreover, despite the allegations from other clubs that Galatasaray is being favored by the TFF President. 

I am not really concerned with the Süper Lig part. What has happened during the term of a president who cannot even answer questions about whether he will run again in the upcoming election process and who is waiting for permission already shows that it is meaningless to talk about the Süper Lig.

A club president punched a referee. Fans entered the pitch and chased a footballer. Footballers beat fans. Teams walked off the pitch. Teams did not take the field for the Super Cup Final that he tried to hold in Saudi Arabia. He wagged his finger at a club president in front of the fans…

But most importantly, the scandals experienced at the European Football Championship…

There are such allegations circulating that, let alone them being true, if even just one of these allegations were discussed in another country, one would have to resign immediately. 

It is being discussed that, along with the conceited National Team Manager who would say, “Turkey needs me more than I need Turkey,” they are blocking the path of bright children who might be the new ‘Golden Generation’.

According to the allegation, Büyükekşi, who wants to be president again, took 613 people to the European Football Championship, with all expenses paid by the TFF. It was emphasized that this was a lobbying effort to put forward his candidacy for the presidency again. The TFF denied the allegation and said, “We took 197 people!”

There are allegations that National Team Manager Hamit Altıntop sat next to journalists at press conferences and pressured the footballers participating in the meeting. 

There are allegations that the National Team is not managed by Montella, but by Altıntop and some names in the TFF. Even more dire, there is an allegation that agents decide which footballers will wear the Ay-Yıldızlı (Crescent-Star) national jersey. They are allegedly determining who will appear on the European stage to increase their market value...

Of course, as long as the truth of these allegations is not proven, they will remain as allegations. However, as in the egg example, the smell of the rotten egg has spread to Turkish football in such a way that the warehouse needs to be emptied to get rid of the smell!

Today is our Czechia match. Either the path of assets like Arda Güler, Kenan Yıldız, and Semih Kılıçsoy will be cleared and these young people will show themselves, or the allegations will grow even stronger. 

They say, “Our main goal is 2032, we are preparing these children for that tournament,” but by 2032, neither you will be left, nor a single sound egg in the warehouse…
