The response to national mourning is indecency!

Last night, Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray were set to face off for the Super Cup in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. However, both of our distinguished clubs withdrew from the match.

The sharia-minded mentality of Saudi Arabia could not even tolerate the silhouette of Atatürk, who built the secular structure of modern Turkey, or his words regarding peace.

The country of the king, for whom we declared national mourning and lowered the 'Turkish Flag'—dyed with the blood of martyrs—to half-mast when he died, stations police at the door of the locker room so that Atatürk t-shirts cannot be worn, and no one but the citizens speaks up!

If you give more value than necessary to the Bedouin, they will dare to disrespect the founder of the Republic of Turkey.

The presidents of both clubs must also be congratulated. Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray have shown the principled stance that the TFF could not.

Let's see if all the politicians who were silent last night, those who emphasize being local and national, those who pose as nationalists or Turkists, and those who talk about national values will say a word today?

Let them not speak, let them not show reaction, let them even pay the compensation the Saudis want because the match was not played.
