The Presidency of Religious Affairs, which has forgotten to mention Atatürk's name during national and religious holidays for many years, somehow remembered its founder, Mustafa Kemal.

I would say it's neither a holiday nor a special occasion, but it is a holiday, and one of the most important ones at that…

But why was Mustafa Kemal Atatürk absent in the others? What happened now that he was remembered?

The Presidency of Religious Affairs, which was allocated a budget of 91,824,805,000 TL in 2024 (and usually exceeds its budget), found it appropriate to share a post on its social media account with 389 thousand followers. In other words, it only remembered Atatürk's name in the message it published! And only 9 thousand people saw the post.

But the President of Religious Affairs, Ali Erbaş, did not forget İsmail Kılıç, known by the nickname Hasan Efendi, the leader of the İsmailağa Community who passed away the other day, and joined the race to publish a condolence message. I say race because AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik, Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş, and Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç also bid farewell to the sheikh with their own condolence messages…

Many important figures, led by President Erdoğan, attended the funeral prayer held yesterday (April 23, 2024).

Meanwhile, at the funeral prayer, İsmailağa Mosque imam Salih Topçu announced in front of the President and everyone attending the funeral that Fikri Doğan had been appointed as the "caliph of Hasan Kılıç" in the İsmailağa community.

While all this was happening, during the April 23 celebrations in Kayseri, just before the wreath-laying ceremony at the Atatürk Monument, an individual named R.K. shouted, "O Muslims, do not worship idols."

Famous economist Özgür Demirtaş, on the other hand, shared his positive views on the Kızıl Goncalar series, which has been the subject of great controversy for months!
