This only happens in nightmares!

Someone who loves God, please pinch us and wake us up from this nightmare…

Because what we are experiencing is too absurd and terrifying to be real. This can only be a nightmare!

For days, Turkey has been talking about the brutal murder of an 8-year-old girl. I don't even want to comment on this because it is so painful. However, the allegations surrounding it are so mind-boggling that it's hard not to lose one's mind. The structure that the family and the village are allegedly affiliated with, the statements made by members of parliament, the publishing of souvenir photos from the funeral… Which one should we even count?

But the agenda continues to present us with various absurdities as a nightmare. Here are some of the mind-boggling events from yesterday that remain in memory…

UNLICENSED POLICE OFFICER TOOK A LIFE!

A traffic accident occurred in Istanbul yesterday. A police vehicle reversing hit a mother and her daughter. The 43-year-old mother was crushed against a wall and was seriously injured. The mother, Ergül Kaya, who was taken to the hospital, lost her life, while her daughter Ayşegül Tufan's treatment continues. The mind-boggling part of the incident is that it turned out the police officer driving the police vehicle involved in the accident was unlicensed! Truly, words fail, don't they?

MINISTER ADMITTED OUR DATA WAS STOLEN

Also yesterday, members of the press asked the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, about allegations regarding whether the identity information of 85 million citizens had been seized by hackers. Stating that there was a leak in the Ministry of Health's system during the pandemic period, Uraloğlu said: “You remember that during the pandemic process, it was a leak from the health system. Other than that, there is none. There is no data regarding the theft of people's current data. It is true that some information was unfortunately obtained in a certain way during the pandemic process. Unfortunately, that could not be prevented at that time.” But wait, hadn't these allegations been denied when they first surfaced?

In a statement made by the Presidential Digital Transformation Office, it had been announced that information regarding the theft of data from e-Nabız, e-Devlet, EBA, and ÖSYM information systems did not reflect the truth. Which one is correct?

THE PURPOSE OF EDUCATION IS NOT KNOWLEDGE!

Former Chief of General Staff and former Minister of National Defense, AKP Kayseri deputy Hulusi Akar, said in a speech he gave at an event that the purpose of education is to instill 'fear of God' in children.

Akar's speech is exactly as follows; "The purpose of education is not to acquire knowledge. The purpose of education is, first, the fear of God, and second, to be ashamed before one's fellow man. If we give the fear of God to people, to our children between the ages of 4-12, if we give them the fear of God and the shame before fellow men, if we give them the love of country, the love of nation, the love of the flag, if we teach them to do good for others and if we load them with our other national and spiritual values, then no matter where this child goes, even if they go to the ends of the earth, do not fear for this child," he said.

The Minister also made his sociological deduction by saying, "If this is not given, as is well known, there are some problems in education, this is the picture we see. Then will you deal with atheists or deists? Will you deal with LGBT? Will you deal with drugs? You will be surprised, you will be surprised. Then we start asking, sir, where is the prosecutor? Where is the police? Friends, this business cannot be done with prosecutors and police. The beginning of the matter, the medicine, is education. If we give this, we give it; if we cannot give it, our own children become alienated from us.”

I think he is right… Let's close the schools and multiply the Quran courses. Those who fear God do not commit crimes anyway. We have never encountered sheikhs in Turkey who defraud their followers, marry young children, or are caught with escorts. There is no need for doctors either. All our illnesses are cured by reading and blowing. And the economy is saved by surahs, not by economists.

Everyone in the world who studies to become an atomic engineer, builds a space station, or makes scientific discoveries is doing useless work anyway. If they hadn't studied, or even if they did study, what did they become, what benefit do they have to humanity?

Look, the young people raised as the minister says are successful wherever they go in the world, as Akar says. Of course, the equivalence of their diplomas is not accepted, but they work in cafes or gas stations instead of practicing medicine, and they are doing just fine, thank God!
