Two days old, two months old, two years old, eight years old, thirteen years old… We cannot protect our babies, our children.
Brutally, viciously, immorally, and through negligence, we are killing our children…
If a society, a country, or a state cannot protect innocent little ones, that society deserves to perish.
Do not complain that everything is going wrong; we are all collectively bearing the curse of these babies…
Look at the agenda of the last month or two…
Our hearts began to burn with Narin, who was viciously murdered at the age of 8. Her killer is still not found. Who, why, and how they harmed Narin remains unclear.
Then the newborn scandal broke out. It was revealed that a gang, including doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers, acted in collusion with certain individuals at the 112 Emergency Call Center to refer babies to the neonatal units of contracted private hospitals, extending the hospital stays of infant patients to gain unfair profit from the Social Security Institution (SGK).
197 criminal acts were identified. Meanwhile, the phone records of doctors and nurses that surfaced in the media were chilling. As we read about how they killed babies and how they abandoned them to die, we were ashamed of our own humanity.
And these human husks harmed these tiny bodies for money.
While we were reeling from this shock, the lifeless body of 6-year-old Şirin Elmas, who had been missing in Şişli, was found in the Feriköy cemetery. A 49-year-old creature sexually abused and killed Şirin.
Just as we were struggling to stay on our feet like a boxer reeling from consecutive punches, unable to digest what we had heard, an AIDS scandal also broke out.
A 13-year-old child in İzmir, who was being treated for suspected osteoporosis, was hospitalized in the final stage after it was discovered they had AIDS, but could not be saved.
Following the incident in İzmir, another major child scandal emerged.
Drawing attention to the rise in HIV cases among children in Turkey, Prof. Dr. Ayper Somer, Head of the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, announced that there are 100 children being followed for being HIV positive at the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine alone. Somer stated that 20 of these children were cases transmitted sexually. In other words, there is child abuse again…
We can no longer accept these children dying for your greed for money, for your sexual hunger…
If nothing else, they die from negligence. For example, yesterday in Denizli, 8-year-old Asya, who had an iron gate fall on her, passed away at the hospital where she was taken. While we were asking, “How can an iron gate fall on a child, does no one take precautions?” news came that a one-year-old baby had died from poisoning after pest control was carried out in an apartment in İzmir. It is incomprehensible; what kind of negligence is this? How can such a death happen? But it happens…
Who is responsible? The workers who did the spraying, the company, or those who failed to inspect it? Who?
In Europe, if a tree falls, the area is cordoned off with tape to ensure safety. Have you ever heard of a European dying because a sign fell on their head? Because all precautions are taken when a job is done. Because human life is valuable…
While I was writing this, the final piece of news that knocked me out arrived. In Istanbul, a vicious woman (I cannot bring myself to call her a mother) made her two-year-old baby drink thinner from a baby bottle, causing their internal organs to disintegrate. The reason was that she could not take care of the baby, who was born from an extramarital affair.
To hell with your sexual perversion, to hell with your parenthood.
We cannot protect them, unfortunately, we cannot protect these little ones… We cannot protect them from your greed for money, your sexual desire, and your immorality.
Do not waste your time wondering when the apocalypse will happen; the apocalypse has already arrived… Look, we are killing angels!
