Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was the first to wear this blue plaid jacket. It was marketed as the jacket worn by the winner. 

Then we saw it on Binali Yıldırım’s back. Then Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu’s…

It is clear what the jacket has brought Erdoğan. Given that Binali Yıldırım’s rise to the office of Prime Minister, his successes in the business world, and the wealth he has acquired are also clear, it is certain that there is a miracle in this jacket. Considering Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu’s political career, it would be foolish not to believe in the miracle of this blue plaid jacket now.

CHP’s new Chairman Özgür Özel realized this before anyone else. He rushed and ‘bought’ himself a ‘Winner’ jacket. 

Since it coincided exactly with the post-normalization policy period with President Erdoğan, different meanings were naturally drawn. It is not as if there weren't factionalists who thought, “Is he trying to say, ‘You are not the winner, I am. Did you win thanks to me?’ Did he give a message by wearing this jacket?” But in the end, since he is among the winners, there is nothing absurd about him wearing this jacket…

Now hold on tight. I have a fantastic suggestion!

Since whoever wears this jacket wins, if we had a winner’s jacket tailored for every retiree trying to get by on a 10 thousand TL pension, every minimum wage earner trying to feed themselves with 17 thousand 2 lira, every candidate eliminated in an interview, and every young person preparing for the university entrance exam—in short, for all the losers in the country—wouldn't there be no problems left in the country?

There would be no need for austerity measures or fighting inflation to fix the economy; we would all just win. 

If the miracle is in this jacket, if our three or five philanthropic businesspeople, who have brought our country into a new age with the tenders they have received, built roads, bridges, and power plants, had these jackets tailored for all citizens, and if this even became state policy and was worn instead of uniforms, there would be no trouble or sorrow left…
